Aileen went quiet.
I could tell she didn't trust her fans one bit—just moments before, I'd watched her standing right behind them as they filmed Floryn and me.
I knew exactly what these fans were really after. All that concern for Aileen? Pure BS. They just wanted bragging rights on fan forums about meeting her in person, making other fans jealous while feeding their own egos.
Aileen tilted her head toward the group. "Hey, could you delete those videos?"
The fans looked stunned—they hadn't expected her to ask them to wipe what they'd recorded.
But when they saw that expression on her face, they knew better than to push it.
Without a word, they pulled out their phones and deleted every single clip and photo from the rehearsal—even cleared their trash folders to be extra sure.
Finally, with righteous fury blazing in their eyes, they shoved their phones in my direction.
