.
.
The Future Overlord adjusted his stance.
His feet dug into the fractured earth as invisible pressure radiated from his body.
Dust lifted around him, hovering briefly before being crushed back into the ground. His gaze swept across the figures surrounding him, sharp and merciless, as if measuring how long each of them would survive.
There was no fear in his eyes. Only malicious smile beneath his mask
Only cold resolve. Could be seen
Slowly, deliberately, he raised his right hand.
It was enormous—far larger than that of an ordinary immortal. His armor creaked as veins of power pulsed beneath it, swelling and tightening like living muscle. Along his fingers, blue light gathered, condensing until it glowed with terrifying intensity. As the blue light gazer around his finger like a python
The aura surrounding his index finger became so dense that the air screamed faintly under the pressure.
He lifted his head.
His eyes met Magman's.
Magman floated above the battlefield, unmoving, as if the chaos below did not concern him. Between his fingers hovered a purple token, its surface engraved with ancient runes. The token fluttered slightly in the wind, releasing waves of violet light that distorted the surrounding space.
For a brief moment, neither of them moved.
Then Magman lowered his hand.
The world responded.
Wind roared from every direction, twisting violently as invisible currents collided. The air compressed into Magman's palm, forming a massive sphere of turbulent wind. It spun faster and faster, its surface rippling like water under a storm.
The pressure alone caused the ground below to crack.
The Future Overlord's pupils contracted.
His armor suddenly bulged outward. Plates shifted and overlapped as his physique grew more monstrous, veins crawling across the surface like roots spreading through stone. Power flooded his body, raw and unrestrained.
His expression darkened.
"What… are you doing?"
Rage surged through him like fire.
"MAGMAN!"
His voice exploded across the battlefield.
"You dare betray me for no reason?! I treated you as a friend, and this is how you repay me?!"
"I'll beat you until your bones are crushed and your pride ground into dust!"
Magman did not react.
His face remained calm, almost bored, as if the words meant nothing.
"Die however you want," he replied coldly.
"I only stayed by your side to gather information about the sects you visited."
His eyes flickered briefly toward the Future Overlord's artifact.
"If you die here," Magman continued, "I'll happily take that special artifact of yours."
The Future Overlord's breathing deepened.
"That damned bastard…"
His killing intent surged, heavy and suffocating.
I'll tear you apart piece by piece.
He turned his gaze away from Magman and toward the figures closing in around him.
"So… it's the Four of the Unrighteous Path."
They stood at different angles, cutting off every escape route.
Men and women alike, each radiating hostility.
One of them immediately drew his attention.
A tall man wearing fur-lined garments stepped forward. In his hands were two massive axes, their blades stained dark and faintly cracked, as if they had been tempered through countless battles. A headband wrapped tightly around his forehead, and a thick belt secured his waist.
The man smiled faintly.
"When this is over," he said calmly, "your body will be a fine addition to my collection."
The Future Overlord snorted.
"Don't worry," he replied coldly.
"After I beat you to death, you won't even remember your own name—let alone your mother."
The others shifted uneasily.
Then—
A sudden chill ran down his spine.
His gaze snapped forward.
A woman raised a jade flute toward her lips.
His eyes widened.
"Lord Singing…?"
His expression paled . He didn't even expecting this !
So she's here too. Damm it !
Without hesitation, he lunged forward. With full killing inten
The ground exploded beneath his feet as he accelerated, his armor swelling further as power erupted from his core. His glowing finger thrust forward, tearing through the air like a blade.
But it was too late.
Attacks came from behind.
A short man raised two fingers. Fine powder scattered from beneath his feet, spreading rapidly across the grass and soil, seeping into the battlefield like a creeping mist.
At the same time, Lord Singing lifted her flute and flew into the air.
She bit her lip and began to play.
The sound that emerged was not music—it was a lament.
A haunting melody spread across the battlefield, echoing inside the minds of those who heard it. Immortals shuddered as memories and fear surged uncontrollably.
Then—
BOOM!
The ground erupted.
The explosion hurled the Future Overlord backward. He twisted midair, forcing himself to regain balance. His eyes flashed coldly as he flicked his fingers.
Bone-like roots shot upward from the earth, wrapped in blue aura, snapping violently through the air like whips.
But the assault continued.
Small spheres descended from above, glowing faintly before detonating one by one.
The earth shook.
Debris filled the sky.
The roots shattered.
The Future Overlord's expression sank.
"That artifact…" he muttered.
"A Mortal Song of Death."
Star-burst creation. Body annihilation.
If I'm hit too many times… even I won't last.
His mind raced. Fully feeling like today was perhaps going to be his last
Kong Tian. Tian Ron. Lord Singing. Lillian Weil.
And Magman.
He landed heavily, boots cracking stone beneath him.
All around him, chaos unfolded.
Immortals clashed midair. Thunder roared. Shockwaves flung bodies aside. Screams echoed endlessly as blood stained the battlefield.
Then Magman's voice rang out again.
A massive wind sphere descended.
"Future Overlord!" Magman shouted mockingly.
"Why aren't you paying attention?!"
"I can't defeat you easily—but this is enough to end you!"
The sphere fell like a meteor.
The ground trembled violently. Leaves, stones, and debris were dragged upward by the pressure. Escape was impossible.
The Future Overlord smiled.
Roots erupted above him.
He closed his eyes and punched upward.
Behind him, thousands of wooden roots burst forth, forming colossal fists that slammed into the descending sphere.
"Fluttering Punching Wood!"
The collision shattered the technique in a deafening thunderclap.
Without pausing, the Future Overlord surged forward.
His hand shot out.
Tian Ron never had time to react.
He grabbed her by the throat.
She struggled weakly.
He leaned close and whispered coldly,
"."
"You were never ready to face me !
The woman try to stretch her hand but
With a sharp movement, her body went limp.
As his finger duge inside her throat
As her own eyes turn lifless
As he laught madly
He released her. Not caring once bit about the corpse
She fell as he corpse land on the ground witha. Fracture skull
Screams erupted.
The short man charged with bloodlust on his eyes .
The Future Overlord vanished—then reappeared behind him, wooden force surging—
But the sky screamed with intense wind appearing up
A colossal wind blade descended.
The Future Overlord reacted instantly. As the wooden mask he use to cover his face
Sliced on half
from the sheer intense aura from the wind blade
He hide his face with his left hand
The short guy who just happen to see his face froze
You are- before he can even finish his last sentence
A powerful kick sent the short man flying upward. As he skull show a crack down his chin
Magman's eyes widened. As his eyes turn red
Too late future overlord spoke out loud
The blade fell as the whole ground started to shake as some grass where even where smash by the sheer aura from the wind blade
Silence followed only
As the short guy was sliced in half as he turn nothing but a lifeless corpse falling from a great height
Magman clenched his fists staring angrily down with deep grazed hatred at future overlord .
The Future Overlord looked at him coldly. Not caring about the man death as he look away only his back could be seen
"It's your fault," he said.
"You brought them here to die."
Magman eyes wider turning even more wider with bloodlust
