Perhaps sensing the mysterious power within Aaron, the surrounding space began to churn. It actually sucked Aaron in out of thin air.
Aaron did not deliberately resist, allowing the suction force to act.
Witnessing this scene, Felicia and the three sisters quickly chased after him.
With no thought of concealment, they rushed in like a gust of wind, instantly crossing a distance of over ten meters and plunging into the Gate before it vanished.
Fury and Coulson blinked.
Looking at the room, which had returned to normal with only the two of them remaining, both felt inexplicably panicked.
"Director, Aaron isn't going to be in trouble, is he?" Coulson asked nervously.
Aaron couldn't be in trouble.
If something happened to him, Earth might prematurely enter Season 3. The heads of all nations would explode.
Fury quickly stepped forward to examine the monolith, but the monolith showed no reaction to him.
"He should... be fine, right?" Fury said uncertainly, his face turning extremely grim.
This monolith actually discriminates?
It was actively enthusiastic towards Aaron, yet completely ignored him, the Director.
This is outrageous!
He really wanted to take a drill and blow up the monolith.
But now...
"Coulson, list this matter as top secret. Next, you and Clint will monitor this place 24/7 in shifts. Report immediately if there's any sign of Aaron."
Fury could not bear the responsibility for Aaron's disappearance. He was going to question Pierce.
Coulson subconsciously touched his increasingly precarious hairline. He couldn't help but show a wry smile.
This is the end!
Just as Coulson was worrying about his hairline, Aaron and the others passed through the Gate and arrived on a desolate Planet.
"Where is this place?" Felicia looked around.
The desolate climate and dim sky sent a chill down her spine.
Arcee compared the Planet with the intergalactic map. "This appears to be an abandoned Planet. It's called Maveth."
"Look! There's a person over there!" Chromia pointed at a hazy figure in the distance.
The group looked, and saw a person wearing a spacesuit.
"Hello, are you also Lost Ones from Earth?" The astronaut asked, his face showing excitement, yet he remained quite wary.
He seemed not to have seen so many people at once for a long time. His speech was a bit clumsy.
"You're an earthling too?"
Felicia was initially just wary, but now she became fully guarded.
Aaron had told her that the people you needed to be most wary of outside were the "fellow humans."
The Astronaut keenly noticed the change in Felicia's expression and subconsciously stopped. He scanned the five people, finally settling on the only man, Aaron.
He smells so good...
The man subconsciously gulped, feeling an urge to devour Aaron.
No, damn it, what am I thinking?
People cannot, or at least should not "eat people."
"Hello, I am William Daniels. I was originally a U.S. Air Force Test Pilot. In 2001, I was recruited by NASA to participate in a project and came here with others for scientific research." William forced himself to calm down and gave a simple self-introduction.
Aaron looked him up and down without speaking.
This is Hive?
It seems Hive still retains William's "self-awareness."
Or rather, Hive has completely consumed the host and taken on this person's identity, thereby waiting for the next batch of sacrifices.
In fact, William and the others were sacrifices selected by one of the HYDRA branches to be offered to Hive, the HYDRA Leader.
Hive is not a specific person or a god, they were the first Inhumans to undergo Kree modification. But after the modification was complete, they essentially became a parasite. Operating these parasites with Hive's consciousness, they can achieve regeneration or parasitism by consuming a target.
They can also gain the target's memories, perfectly replacing them.
Over thousands of years, the sacrifices offered by HYDRA were all devoured by them, allowing them to survive on the deserted Maveth until today.
Moreover, by consuming these sacrifices, they not only achieved an alternative form of immortality and repaired their body, but also mastered most Earth languages, along with numerous combat skills and abilities.
They could be considered the Inhumans version of Apocalypse.
However, Hive never consumes Inhumans. It's not that Hive cannot do it, but that they view Inhumans as their kin. Otherwise, Hive might have been able to master the abilities of other Inhumans.
Seeing that Aaron remained silent, Felicia immediately sensed Aaron's attitude.
This person is trouble.
She had only ever seen this expression on Aaron when he encountered a beautiful woman or someone problematic.
Aaron doesn't like men, so this person must be an enemy.
Elita then said, "He's not lying. His information does exist in Earth's records."
"But ten years have passed, and he doesn't seem to have aged at all?"
Hearing this, everyone became vigilant.
William took two steps back. "I'm not a bad person, I really am a human."
Before they knew it, a sandstorm suddenly appeared around the group, yet there was no wind right now.
"I don't know what exactly you are thinking."
Will straightened his attire, making himself look a bit tidier.
"I am the genuine Will Daniels. I can clearly recall anything that has happened in the past."
"You can verify my experiences one by one. I am willing to confirm my identity."
Felicia immediately sensed that something was wrong. "You said you can recall everything that has happened in the past?"
"Of course."
"Because I am Will."
Will was full of confidence.
Felicia looked suspicious. "Is human memory that good? I remember that humans actively clear out some memories to free up space. No one can clearly recall everything that has ever happened in the past."
Arcee nodded. "According to the comparison with Earth database, that statement is correct."
The four people simultaneously looked at Will. "So, you have a problem."
Will panicked and instinctively took a step back. "No, I don't!"
"I am Will Daniels!"
Many memories flashed through his mind.
Everything, from childhood to the present, was vividly clear. He was certain that everything he had experienced was real and verifiable.
But just as Felicia had said, his recollection of the past was excessively clear. It was as if he were watching a movie, able to quickly browse the memory scenes he needed.
"No, no, no!"
"You are the liars! You are the ones with the problem!"
Will yelled while clutching his head, his eyes gradually turning red.
The sandstorm intensified.
Although there was clearly no wind, a hazy dust cloud enveloped Will.
"Is this a sandstorm?"
"I feel that this dust cloud contains some unknown danger."
Felicia had Spider-Sense. Her brain was frantically warning her not to enter the sandstorm, or something bad would happen.
Aaron scanned the surroundings, and a faint light appeared on his hand. Immediately, an invisible wall rose up. It separated everyone from the sandstorm.
"Pay attention to these 'grains of sand.' Sometimes danger comes from these subtle details."
Aaron intended to test Felicia and the others' awareness.
