Chapter 39 - The Most American Person in the World

Aaron glanced at the sky, the sun was setting.

His feet instinctively pushed off, and his entire body shot straight into the sky. In an instant, he broke the sound barrier, his speed rapidly climbing to Mach 3, and still increasing rapidly.

In the blink of an eye, his speed was far beyond Mach 3.

Aaron's Super Perception allowed him to easily detect his own speed: Mach 5.

This already surpassed the Mach 3.35 maximum speed of the Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft and the YF-12A he had just devoured.

"Right, the speed of a fighter jet depends on the thrust of its engine. Theoretically, the ultimate speed of a fighter jet is far more than this. This is the pilot's upper limit, not the fighter jet's upper limit."

"My current energy far exceeds those fighter jets, and my body can withstand hundreds of times more pressure than them. Unless my energy is depleted, I can keep accelerating."

"And..."

Aaron tried to use other abilities to assist him.

Air Control gave him the power to manipulate the atmosphere. As long as a strong atmospheric pressure was generated behind him, it might allow his speed to increase even further.

There was also electromagnetic control. Once developed, his speed would see a further increase.

While experimenting with his abilities, Aaron quickly passed over New York.

Looking at the vast blue sea below, Aaron quickly braked. He came to a sudden stop, and hovered in the air.

"This should be the ability of a helicopter. With my current flying skills, I'm far beyond what the most advanced fighter jets can achieve."

In his excitement, Aaron let out a long howl.

The resonant sound traveled with the sea breeze to a place more than ten kilometers away.

Even in the distant New York City center, this long howl was faintly heard.

On the coastline, some people looked in the direction of the sound, full of confusion.

At the same time, lines of unknown species of fish, bellies up, appeared on the sea surface.

Aaron quickly shut his mouth.

Suppressing the excitement in his heart, he turned and headed towards New York.

At this moment.

Over New York City.

Tony, wearing the Mark IV armor he had previously developed, was leisurely preparing to attend a wild party.

The beauties there, once they saw him descend from the sky in his armor, would definitely scream with excitement.

However, just now—

A dark shadow suddenly flew past him at high speed from above.

Tony watched helplessly as that thing flew further and further away. Even if he pushed his engine to full throttle, he couldn't catch up.

He was depressed. "Motherf*cker! What the hell just flew by?!"

"Jarvis, immediately replay the video from just now and confirm the identity of the other party." Tony immediately ordered.

"Sir, that person's speed just now reached Mach 7, and it was still increasing."

"What the hell? You said that was a person just now?" Tony exclaimed.

"And it's an acquaintance, Mr. Aaron from Osborn Industries."

Tony's face instantly fell.

You say he's a person, I have no objection.

But you say he's Aaron?

"So, he can also fly, and he's faster than me?"

"What armor is he wearing? Wait, how can he withstand high-speed flight and maintain a normal physical condition?"

The Mark IV armor's speed limit was Mach 3. This limit was not due to power or material issues, but because of his weak body.

However, Aaron was more than twice as fast as him.

He was unconvinced.

Jarvis pulled up the video from just now, slowing it down a hundredfold. "Mr. Aaron was not wearing any armor."

Looking at the screen, Aaron flying directly in the sky without any armor, Tony was silenced.

"Jarvis, are you sure you didn't make a mistake? Is it possible that the recording system malfunctioned?"

"Currently detecting... No malfunction detected."

Tony said unwillingly, "Then is it possible that he developed the latest optical invisibility technology and can maintain Mach 7 flight without collapsing?"

"After detection, no residual propulsion such as fire jets was detected on his body."

"So you mean Aaron is Superman. He's from Krypton, and wants to lead Earthlings to evolve and become a God among men?" Tony's voice suddenly rose.

"That possibility cannot be ruled out."

"What the f*ck!"

Tony was about to say something else when a long howl suddenly came from a distance, interrupting their conversation.

"Crazy person."

Tony subconsciously muttered, and then a dark shadow quickly approached from a distance.

Tony was stunned for a moment, then quickly went to meet him. "Hey, let's have a race."

Hearing this, Aaron glanced at Tony and suddenly increased his speed significantly, instantly leaving Tony far behind.

"Wait! I meant fly up!"

"Let's see who flies higher and sees further!"

Tony finished speaking and immediately flew upwards.

However, Aaron's ears twitched, and without looking back, he flew into the distance.

"Idiot."

Tony stopped in the air. "What did he just say?"

"..."

After Jarvis checked the recording, a word popped up: Idiot.

"Idiot? Did you hear that? He actually called me an idiot."

"I am the world's number one Genius—Tony Stark."

Tony's lips twitched. "That bastard."

Meanwhile, on the other side,

Triskelion Building.

"What exactly is Aaron's goal?" Nick Fury was pondering this very question.

He looked at all the recently collected data regarding Aaron laid out on the desk.

Before his first day of appearance, the information about him was zero.

"Where did these things come from?" He looked up and pointed at Aaron's identity documents.

These included Aaron's gun license, social security card, New York State driver's license, birth certificate, legal identification, bank statements, utility bills, and even tax records.

All-encompassing and incredibly complete.

Furthermore, these items could all be found in databases and would pass scrutiny at checkpoints, inspections, customs, aviation, borders, and so on.

And there was also a strange sense of familiarity.

Nick thought about it. Even his own documents weren't this complete.

Agent Hill pulled a document from the file and said, "Director, these documents involve many departments, and the network of relationships behind them is complex. I do not recommend a deeper investigation."

Seeing a flicker of strangeness cross Hill's face, a bad premonition arose in Nick's heart.

He carefully looked at the investigation results.

Good heavens, there were even his own people involved.

The first person on the list was an employee within the Bureau specializing in making fake documents.

"Motherf*cker!"

No wonder he felt so familiar with it, and no wonder all the documents were so realistic—it turned out his own people were earning extra money in their spare time.

The rest of the list included internal personnel from the Immigration Bureau, Tax Bureau, FBI, CIA, and others.

What a pool of talent, what a win-win collaboration.

Veins pulsed on Nick's forehead.

What is professionalism? This is professionalism.

Having professionals handle professional matters, ensuring the entire set of information is traceable and incredibly authentic—anyone who saw this would have to give a thumbs up.

"Motherf*cker!"

Hill remained silent. When she saw this, she was equally astonished.

But the fact was, this was the case.

These departments had collaborated to make an unknown man seem more American than they were.

This was truly outrageous.
