Chapter 43 - Tony's Race Challenge

Aaron asked Felicia, "What's the schedule for today?"

"The organizers have arranged a luxury dinner at 9:30 PM..."

"Okay, cancel it for me."

Aaron didn't plan to stay here long, he intended to grab the arc reactor and leave.

He has quite a schedule these days. He has to feed Felicia, soothe Helen, and discipline Barbara.

Besides that, he remembered that just a few days after the Iron Man 2 plot occurs, Thor is going to fall down.

Whether it is Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, or Destroyer, those are all good things.

Given the chance, Aaron definitely intends to acquire them.

There is also the Asgardian blood, and the Frost Giant blood.

He even wanted to get his hands on Odin's data.

Of course, there was also Odin's Vault, which contained various treasures.

Inside were the Tablet of Life and Time, Eternal Flame, Casket of Ancient Winters... all coveted divine artifacts.

Then there was the Exposition. Although Norman presided over it, Aaron had to hold down the fort to prevent certain envious individuals from causing trouble, unaware of the consequences.

Aaron didn't care about the so-called "newborn," or even Osborn Industries. But these things are all his.

You can only have them if I give them to you. Otherwise, no matter how envious you are, you have to bear it.

"Being a boss is really tiring." Aaron sighed.

Felicia's lips twitched, but she didn't speak.

"Mr. Aaron, you are absolutely right."

A short man walked over, arm-in-arm with a woman half a head taller than him.

"Hello, I am Justin Hammer, CEO of Hammer Industries."

"I heard you are about to hold a grand Exposition, and I actually wanted to display something at your Exposition..."

Hammer said eagerly and cautiously.

His female companion next to him looked at Aaron with shining eyes, but when she saw Felicia, she could only retract her little thoughts.

Aaron glanced at him, thought for a moment and said, "Oh, so you're the one who wanted to acquire my Corporation?"

Hammer gave an awkward laugh. "No, I was just joking, I..."

"Hahaha, Hammer, you are really too good at joking. You actually want to acquire Osborn Industries? Tomorrow, are you going to acquire my Stark Industries too?" A familiar voice sounded from a distance.

Tony arrived, flanked by Happy and Pepper.

"Stark..."

As soon as he saw him, Hammer felt uncomfortable.

Hammer Industries was able to develop entirely by picking up Tony's scraps.

Because Tony decided to close his weapons division, the military had to find another partner, so Hammer Industries and A.I.M. entered the military's sight.

To some extent, Hammer was eating all the leftovers Tony disdained.

When the main owner arrived, he could only silently leave, his face ashen.

"Don't mind him, this should be our second meeting, mysterious flying man."

Tony looked at Aaron with a strange expression, carrying a hint of inexplicable hostility. "Interested in a race?"

Tony pointed to the racetrack, then pulled open his suit jacket, revealing his racing suit underneath. He lifted his head, his face full of pride.

However, when he saw Felicia, his pride slightly diminished.

Damn it, I lost again. But I'm sure I can last longer than you.

Tony looked at Aaron's muscle definition, which his suit couldn't completely conceal, and then thought of his own eight-pack abs that had merged into one, and fell silent for a moment.

Damn it! What billionaire still works out? Why don't you go compete in a bodybuilding competition?

"Race me?"

Glancing at Tony's professional racing suit, Aaron shook his head in disdain. "Don't you think that's very boring?"

"And... just you?"

Tony's eyelids twitched, remembering the word Aaron had said to him before leaving last time.

Arrogant! So arrogant!

I've never met anyone more arrogant than me in my life. Hey, I guess I have today.

Tony was very unconvinced. Ever since he graduated from MIT and focused on Stark Industries, he had always been the center of attention worldwide. Every exhibition he held attracted everyone's gaze.

Stark Industries advanced a step every day under his leadership.

Even after closing the weapons department and kicking Obadiah out, Stark Industries not only didn't fall from its pedestal, but its pedestal became permanent.

However, in the past two days, the most he heard about was Aaron and Osborn.

The most he saw was also Aaron and Osborn.

All the major headlines carried Aaron's name, and all the executives bowed and scraped to Aaron, fawning over him.

And he, Tony, the prodigy, had become Aaron's foil.

The key was, the girl Aaron was dating was also prettier than the ones he found.

His body was stronger than his.

He could also fly without the aid of other powers, leaving him to eat exhaust fumes the whole time.

Damn it!

Tony swore he would win against Aaron at least once.

Even if it was just once!

"If I lose, that five-million dollar sports car is yours after the race."

Aaron glanced at the luxurious Formula One car, and chuckled. "Do you think I lack five million dollars?"

"And..."

Wait until after the race? So you'll give me a pile of junk after the race, right?

"Tony."

Pepper tugged at him from the side, sighing helplessly at Tony's smug demeanor.

She smiled and walked forward to shake Aaron's hand. "Mr. Aaron, we actually came to ask you something."

Aaron raised an eyebrow. Tony needs my help? That's very rare.

"We heard you've made significant breakthroughs in biomedicine..."

"Are you talking about the anti-aging potion? Or the anti-cancer agent? Or limb regeneration? Or beauty potions?"

Aaron glanced at Tony, then at Pepper, and nodded in understanding. "You certainly need these things."

For normal people, turning thirty is a hurdle. Their appearance declines rapidly and uncontrollably after that.

Tony and Pepper, born in 1970 and 1974 respectively, are now approaching their forties. Time has left very clear marks on their faces.

Pepper subconsciously touched her face, quite tempted by Aaron's words.

Tony also fell silent for a moment when he heard this. "Even so, if we both wave to the stands right now, I guarantee I'd be more popular."

"See this sexy mustache? This is the face of a successful, mature man, most attractive to women."

"Are you sure?" Aaron looked at the stands with a half-smile.

Looking at the "audience" in the front row, who, though chatting among themselves, occasionally glanced over, Tony's lips twitched. "Not today."

"Alright, it seems you really have developed those things. Your ability is a little more impressive than I imagined."

"Don't get arrogant, just a little bit."

Tony gestured, still unyielding.

"If I had studied biological genetics instead of electrical engineering and physics, I would have solved cancer and aging problems ten years ago."

Tony was very stubborn.

Aaron nodded. "But you didn't."

"..."

"Has anyone ever told you that talking to you is very boring?"

Tony was speechless. Why was talking to Aaron so exhausting?

Aaron said in surprise, "Then you should ask miss Potts and Happy. They would definitely say, 'Isn't that you?'"

"Really?" Tony looked inquiringly.

Pepper was expressionless, and Happy turned his head to look away.

"Just a little bit." Happy muttered softly.

Tony's face darkened.

"I only talk like this to people with ulterior motives."

Tony tried to make amends, then quickly pulled the conversation back to the main topic, "Alright, I wanted to ask if you have something... that can solve radiation problems."

"For example..."

"Palladium poisoning?"
