Chapter 3 - The Magic That Symbolizes Absolute Evil

Chapter 3

"Plunder!"

As Eugene gave the command, a strange energy surged rapidly from within his body, transforming into a dark night mist with a distinctly evil aura. It twisted like tendrils, floating downward.

Hiss

The moment it touched the ground, a phantom scream, painful and mournful, rose from the ashes.

Yet, for some unknown reason, this heart-chilling cry made Eugene feel a strange sense of... pleasure?

"Instant-cast magic, not bad."

Magic with an extremely short incantation is precious; it can be cast immediately, making it more convenient than the Kamehameha.

Only the effect is different.

Hoo!

Just then, the screams abruptly stopped.

The mist rapidly retracted, bringing with it a noticeable surge of warmth.

[Ding! You have completed the Plunder]

[Obtained Target's Most Outstanding Attribute - Agility +50!]

[Obtained Target's Strongest Skill - Pounce, can dash a certain distance in a straight line]

[Obtained All Target's Drops - Goblin Tooth, Goblin Hide, Goblin Tibia, Goblin's...]

"Wait a minute?"

A series of system panels flashed before his eyes, and Eugene was utterly shocked.

Shouldn't Goblins be the lowest-tier monsters?

They're only slightly stronger than Kobolds, so how do they come with a skill?

And the item dropsisn't that too much?

It's literally stripping everything off the body!

Even the notoriously greedy Zhou Bapi would bow to you!

"Is this what Complete Plunder means?"

Excluding life, almost all of the opponent's "precious possessions" were stolen by him.

This kind of evil ability is simply

Amazing!!

Eugene's mouth stretched into a wide, menacing grin, and his giant eyes shone brightly!

This joy of taking what belongs to others is absolutely exhilarating!

In the rule-of-law society of his previous life, his actions merely skirted the line.

Now, in the Dungeon, a place devoid of moral boundaries and ruled by the law of the jungle.

If he wants it, he can take everything from his opponent!

This is the true pleasure of the Minotaur!

Stomp!

His bull's hoof violently stomped, scattering the Goblin's ashes.

Following that, a deep, satisfied bellow echoed across the grassland.

"Bring it on!"

With a fierce look in his eyes and madness surging around him, Eugene turned, holding the broken club, and charged towards a bulky Orc about three meters tall in the distance!

His figure became a black blur, raising a flag of dust behind him.

The next moment

"Pounce!"

An inherent instinct stimulated his hind leg muscles, transforming Eugene, more than ten meters from the Orc, into a giant, taut arrow, a heavy projectile!

His body lowered to the extreme, his pair of giant horns gleaming coldly.

The next second, his hundreds-of-kilograms body slammed violently into the Orc's waist, which couldn't react in time, crushing half its torso like mud and sending the giant body flying into the air!

CRASH!

It plowed a long trench in the ground!

"That was satisfying!"

Eugene heavily exhaled a breath of foul air. He roared deafeningly at the mush of flesh that couldn't get up. Just as he was about to deliver the killing blow, a system prompt sounded in his ear again.

[Judged that you have caused "Suppression" on the opponent. Do you want to Plunder?]

"This works too?"

Even a sneak attack counts?

Eugene stood up straight, focused his mind, and reached out towards the dying Orc.

"Plunder!"

Buzz!

The same pitch-black, deep-night mist appeared on both Eugene and the Orc's body, though this time they didn't touch.

But that familiar warm current quickly spread throughout Eugene's body.

The Orc, already on the brink of death, watched its skin rapidly darken and the violent red light in its eyes extinguish, as if its soul had been drawn out.

[You have severely wounded the target, draining 80% of the opponent's Stamina]

So that's how it works! Eugene was thrilled again.

When the system judges that he has caused Suppression on a target, using Continuous Plunder allows him to constantly drain the opponent's Stamina!

This effect is incredibly practical.

He urgently wants to level up but is worried about over-grinding and lacking energy.

But with the effect of Continuous Plunder, he can become a perpetual motion machine!

Furthermore, it seems that if he gains the first-strike advantage and suppresses the opponent, he can trigger the Continuous Plunder effect.

Not to say a perfect first strike, but at least a significant advantage!

In this wave, the advantage is mine!

BANG! A blow to the head finished the Orc, and Eugene activated Plunder again.

[Obtained Target's Most Outstanding Attribute - Strength +100!]

[Obtained Target's Strongest Skill - Casual Strike, Durability of the club-type weapon held is increased by +10%]

[Obtained All Target's Drops - Orc Hide, Orc Tooth, Orc Tibia, Orc's...]

Another skill!

Eugene felt the club in his hand, which seemed to have become slightly harder, and sighed inwardly.

Setting aside the item drops.

From an adventurer's perspective, Goblins specializing in Pounce and sneak attacks, and Orcs using tree branches as weapons, are just ordinary traits, not worth investigating.

But Plunder even stole these traits!

A true uprooting, a swarm of locusts passing through! Everything of value is packaged and taken away!

Absolute evil, without bottom lines, without a trace of mercy!

If the first three options the system provided represented justice, knowledge, and value.

Then the Dungeon Monster option is absolute chaos and violence!

Your gear is great? I'll steal it!

Your skill is great? I'll steal it!

Your magic is great? Then...

"Hiss, what happens with magic?"

Thinking of this, Eugene frowned.

He remembered the Danmachi setting: no matter how strong you are, the limit for the Magic Slot is a maximum of three.

The only exceptions are Riveria, the "Nine Magic Princess," and Lefiya, the "Thousand Elf."

Apart from these two, no one else can use more than three spells.

Forget three; having two is already rare.

"If I plunder someone who has magic, will it take up a slot?"

Eugene pondered with an RPG player's mentality.

He was about to ask the system, but an indistinct explosion sound echoed from the depths of the thick mist.

Followed by a long, drawn-out roar.

That must be the roar of the "Young Dragon," the strongest monster on the Upper Floors.

"Adventurers?"

Eugene looked into the distance and quickly made a decision.

Practice proves everything.

The Minotaur stepped out, heading towards the source of the conflict.

He was enveloped in a faint black mist, like an envoy from hell.

"This step becoming an enemy of humans must eventually be taken."
