~Becklan's POV~
The quiet stretched on, pressing in from all sides, until the sharp ring of Leon's phone finally cut through it.
"Hello? Theo?" Leon's voice was immediate, filled with a sharp, frantic edge.
I leaned my head back slightly, straining to hear. The conversation was short, but the moment Leon hung up, his tone was urgent. "Change the route," he told the driver, giving the address of a high-end bar downtown.
When we arrived, the scene was messy. Theo was stumbling out of the entrance, his clothes dishevelled and his eyes glazed with intoxication. He barely recognized Leon until he spoke his name.
"Leon... you came," Theo slurred, stumbling into him.
Leon didn't hesitate. He caught him, his arms wrapping around Theo with a practiced, protective strength. He helped him into the back of the car, and the moment they were settled, Theo became incredibly clingy. He wound his arms around Leon, burying his face in the crook of Leon's neck.
