[Kakashi: "Everything you're doing… is meaningless — even if it costs my life."]
"There is no one in Konoha… who would ever betray their comrades!"
Back in Konoha.
"Kakashi, you said it perfectly! You're truly my lifelong rival!"Might Guy threw an arm around Kakashi's shoulders, flashing his trademark blinding smile.
"Let go!"Kakashi gave him a disgusted look, but Guy held on tight.
"Kakashi… you're not gonna be hurt in the footage, right?"
Guy's tone grew serious.
Kakashi didn't answer.
Even Jiraiya had lost to this enemy… in his heart, Kakashi honestly had no confidence in surviving.
Naruto: "Kakashi-sensei, you can do it! You have to beat that guy!"
Sasuke didn't speak aloud, but thought quietly to himself.
I've never truly seen the full extent of Kakashi's power. Maybe this time… I'll finally get to witness it.
Sakura: "Kakashi-sensei! Smash him flat!"
