Chōji shook his head. "Never heard of him."
Shikamaru thought for a moment.
"If he wears a Konoha forehead protector, he's one of us. But the fact none of us has seen him before means he's probably from the ANBU… or Root."
Root Headquarters
"Damn it! Is Sai skinny or stupid?!"
"If you're on a top-secret mission, just do it! Why announce it out loud?!"
"But… what mission did I even assign him in the future?"
Even Danzō didn't know—after all, this was future business.
The screen continued.
Sakura, unconscious, was sliding toward the gorge below—dangerously close to falling.
"SAKURA! Hey—wake up!"
"Damn it… at a time like this?!"
Yamato sighed helplessly and began forming hand seals.
"Wood Release!"
A wooden brace extended from the cliff wall, trying to support the collapsing Tenchi Bridge.
Within seconds, Yamato's expression darkened.
"No good! I can't hold it!"
The wooden beams couldn't withstand the destruction—Sakura plummeted toward the river below.
Konoha — Chūnin Exam Arena
Ino: "Ugh! Forehead Girl, not only are you useless—now you're dragging everyone down! How embarrassing!"
Sakura: "Ino-pig, you—!"
Ino: "What? Am I wrong?"
Sakura opened her mouth…
But she had no way to defend herself.
Because the footage was too cruelly accurate.
TenTen: "We misjudged Naruto. Sakura's actually the weakest link."
Chōji: "I always thought Naruto was cool. He's one of us Four Truants, right Kiba?"
Kiba: "Yeah. And Sakura kept rejecting him for years. Tsk tsk tsk…"
Shikamaru sighed. "Don't bully her too much. It's not Sakura's fault—she fainted."
Hinata wasn't listening. She was too busy worrying about Naruto fighting Orochimaru.

Raikage A: "Mabui, who is that Sakura girl?"
Mabui: "Lord Raikage, she's on the same team as Sasuke and Naruto."
"…Same team? Then why is the gap THAT big?"
Hidden Mist Village
Terumi Mei: "Don't know why… but seeing Sakura reminds me of that old hag Tsunade."
"Ugh. So annoying."
Hidden Stone Village
"That Yamato really can use Senju Hashirama's Wood Release."
"Is it because of Orochimaru's experiments? Orochimaru… is far too dangerous."
"If he cannot be used by our village, he must be eliminated!"
Ōnoki's face was grave.
Hidden Sand Village
Chiyo: "It really is Wood Release. But compared to Hashirama… the difference is like heaven and earth."
Pure Land
Hashirama:What the…? That's Wood Release? Seriously? Did I see that right?!
Madara:It's technically Wood Release. But the power level… pfft.
Madara thought silently—
One Hashirama was enough.
Yamato's "Wood Release" was an insult.
A disgrace to the Senju name.
Tobirama:
"Orochimaru is disgusting, but his research is impressive. Actually making someone able to use big brother's Wood Release…"
Tobirama admired the craftsmanship—
But Orochimaru still needed to die.

The scene resumed.
Sai pulled out a scroll and began painting.
Yamato brightened. "Sai! I'm counting on you!"
"Ninja Art: Super Beast Imitation Drawing!"
A black-ink bird flew out.
Sai immediately mounted it.
He flew RIGHT PAST Sakura, brushing shoulders with her…
…and headed straight toward the battlefield between Orochimaru and Naruto.
Yamato could only sigh and use Wood Release again to save Sakura himself.
Konoha — Chūnin Exam Arena
Kiba: "See?! Told you that Sai guy was shady!"
Ino: "Sakura might be useless, but that Sai guy is worse—he left her to DIE! That's too much!"
Even Ino had a bottom line.
Shikamaru nodded.
"We'll have to keep an eye on Sai from now on."
Naruto clenched his fists.
"That Sai guy… when I meet him, I'm gonna punch him into the sky!"
Not saving Sakura? Wasn't she a teammate?
Sasuke's eyes sharpened.
"Sai, right? I'll remember that name."
Even if Sakura annoyed him, he would never forgive someone who abandoned a comrade.
Root Headquarters
"This idiot! He completely exposed himself!"
Danzō slammed the table.
"Where is he?! I ordered him to report in! Why isn't he here yet?!"
The scene continued.
Sai approached the battlefield.
The shockwave hit him before he even got close.
Orochimaru burst through a cloud of dust, landing on a tree—one arm severed.
He sneered.
"I see."
"Even with the jinchūriki's power, this is all you can do?"
"Still far inferior to Sasuke."

"DAMN IT!!"
The Nine-Tails slammed its claws against the bars.
"My power is FAR greater than this! This is an insult to my name!"
"Orochimaru, huh? Looking down on MY power?"
"Just wait!"
"When that future arrives, I'll show you TRUE fear!"
