Chapter 1 — The Timeline Destroyer
Rei was walking home, thinking about nothing in particular… until—
BAM!!
A truck slammed into him.
There was no pain. No fear.
Just darkness.
And then… he opened his eyes.
He was on a bus.
But everything was frozen.
The students.
The driver.
The sky outside.
Even the dust in the sunlight didn't move.
Time had completely stopped.
A glowing blue screen appeared in front of him.
> "I am the Timeline Destroyer System."
"The more you change the timeline, the more points you earn."
Rei blinked. "Huh?"
> "You can use points for three things," the system continued.
1. Increase your Stats
2. Lottery to gain modified powers from anime characters
3. After destroying enough timelines, major features will unlock
Rei's eyes widened.
"Power from anime characters… but even stronger than the originals? Perfect."
> "Yes," the system confirmed.
"All you have to do is destroy this timeline and rise to the top."
Rei looked around.
Then he froze.
A boy with messy brown hair and blank eyes sat beside him.
Ayanokoji Kiyotaka.
Rei smirked.
From the start of the anime… I know exactly what to do.
> "Timeline starts in 5 seconds."
5… 4… 3… 2… 1…
Everything unfroze.
Voices, movement, sound — all returned.
Rei heard Kushida's cheerful voice asking someone for a seat.
He leaned toward Ayanokoji.
"Hey, what's up? Looks like we're going to the same school."
Ayanokoji turned to him.
"…Hello. It seems that way."
"What class?" Rei asked.
"Class D," Ayanokoji replied.
Rei smirked.
System, what class am I in?
> "Class D."
"Oh? Same class," Rei said casually. "Guess we'll be seeing each other more."
Ayanokoji nodded.
Ding!
> You changed the timeline. +50 Points.
Reason: Ayanokoji didn't look at Horikita.
Rei grinned.
Just talking changed the timeline? This'll be easy.
> "You also have a free beginner lottery."
"Do it," Rei said instantly.
A bright wheel spun, faster and faster.
Then it stopped.
> Congratulations. You obtained: Aventurine's Luck.
Original effect: Requires danger to activate.
Modified effect: Always active. No danger required.
Rei's grin turned wicked.
I can't believe this. Aventurine's absolute luck… without any risk.
"I'm going to be rich," Rei whispered, eyes shining.
"And this timeline? Already doomed."
As the bus stopped, both Rei and Ayanokoji stepped out, walking toward the school gates together.
Rei glanced at him.
"So… how are you planning to introduce yourself?"
Ayanokoji looked puzzled.
"…I have no idea."
Rei laughed lightly. "Then what's your name, by the way?"
"Ayanokoji Kiyotaka," he said calmly. "And yours?"
"I'm Rei Yukishiro," Rei replied. "But just call me Rei."
Ayanokoji nodded.
Rei thought to himself,
Thank god I asked. If I accidentally called him by his name without asking, he'd get suspicious. I need to become his friend first—he's the safest person to be around when things get dangerous.
"Want me to help you with your introduction?" Rei offered.
Ayanokoji blinked. "Really?"
Rei nodded.
"Just say: 'Hello everyone, I'm Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. I don't talk much, but I hope we get along.'
Then bow a little and sit down."
Ayanokoji listened quietly, then nodded.
"Thank you."
Rei smiled. "Buddy help each other."
Ayanokoji looked at him curiously. "…Buddy? Are we?"
Rei pretended to be confused. "What? We're not? You don't want to?"
"No," Ayanokoji said softly. "I'm happy to be your friend."
Rei smiled brightly.
Ding!
> +100 Points
Reason: Became Ayanokoji's first school friend, changed his introduction, and prevented embarrassment.
Rei smirked inwardly.
I made him introduce himself like that on purpose. Now he'll look like a boring person, so fewer girls will pay attention to him. Perfect.
Both walked into the classroom.
Rei's eyes lit up.
His seat was right in front of Ayanokoji's.
He turned around with a grin.
"Looks like we'll be close to each other."
Ayanokoji nodded silently.
They both sat down.
Rei leaned back slightly, scanning the classroom, a sly smile forming on his lips.
I'll drop a bomb on this timeline soon… very soon.
He smirked—but kept it hidden.
Rei was casually scanning the room when the door opened.
Horikita Suzune walked in.
Cold eyes.
Calm steps.
Unbothered by anyone around her.
She sat down next to Ayanokoji.
Rei smirked internally.
My favorite one has arrived.
But he didn't stare too long — he kept his act natural.
Five minutes later…
The room fell silent automatically.
Sae Chabashira entered.
Rei leaned forward slightly, eyes gleaming.
My second favorite.
This timeline was filled with opportunities.
"Everyone, sit down," Chabashira said firmly.
The class quieted instantly.
She stood at the podium and introduced herself.
"Hello everyone. I am Sae Chabashira, your homeroom teacher for the next three years. There will be no class changes. You will remain in Class D until graduation."
Rei rested his chin on his hand.
Finally… the fun begins.
Chabashira continued:
"This school has special rules. Everything you need is provided on campus. But to use them, you need points. Points are distributed every month. One point equals one yen."
The class murmured.
"You have already been given 100,000 points this month. Are you surprised?" she asked emotionlessly.
"You deserve this much for being accepted into this school."
Gasps and whispers filled the room.
"And every month," she finished, "you will be given points. That is all. Any questions?"
Rei's smirk grew.
My chance.
He raised his hand.
Chabashira looked at him. "Yes? What's your question?"
Rei stood up calmly.
"You said we were given 100,000 points this month… but how much will we get next month?"
Before Chabashira could speak—
Ike burst out laughing.
"You didn't hear the teacher? She said we get points every month!"
Rei slowly turned to Ike.
"I don't think I asked you."
The class went silent.
He looked back to Chabashira.
"Well?"
Chabashira smiled slightly. "I can't answer that."
Some students started whispering again.
Rei took a step forward.
"Then why," he said, "are there hidden cameras in the room?"
The class froze.
Everyone started looking around, spotting small lenses in the corners.
"What the—?!"
Rei didn't stop.
"So, how much would it cost to transfer to Class A?"
Chabashira answered immediately.
"Twenty million points."
Rei smirked.
"So let me guess… Only graduating from Class A guarantees 100% placement into your desired university or job. No exams. No interviews."
The room shook with shock.
He continued coldly:
"Meaning other classes don't get that privilege."
Chabashira's eyes widened. For the first time, she looked genuinely surprised.
Rei finished his attack:
"Let me guess again—the hidden cameras monitor student behavior. Based on that, the school adds or deducts points.
And the class with the highest points becomes Class A."
Silence.
Then—
"How did you figure that out?" Chabashira asked, stunned.
Rei shrugged casually.
"Any smart person could notice that."
Chabashira exhaled, almost impressed.
"You're the first student to discover this on day one. Even the Student Council President took two weeks."
Rei smirked.
Everyone else…
was completely speechless.

Chapter 4 – The Calm Before More Chaos
> "That's it for today," Sae Chabashira said, closing her notebook. "You can introduce yourselves and decide on a class representative before the next homeroom."
Her eyes lingered briefly on Rei, as if silently saying I'm watching you.
Rei smirked faintly.
> Yeah, keep watching, Sensei. I'll keep making history.
As soon as she left, the classroom erupted into noise.
> "What kind of system is this!?"
"Hidden cameras? That's insane!"
"Do they really judge us like that?"
Rei leaned back in his chair, watching the panic with amusement.
> They're finally realizing the truth. Took them long enough.
Then, Yosuke Hirata stood up, wearing his usual calm and friendly smile.
> "Everyone, let's settle down. My name is Hirata Yosuke. I think we should all introduce ourselves so we can get along better."
Students slowly began to quiet down. But before Hirata could continue, Rei stood up casually. The room instantly focused on him.
> "What?" Rei said lazily, glancing around at the stares.
Hirata scratched the back of his head nervously.
> "Ah, sorry, Rei-kun. Could you wait a bit for the introductions?"
Rei smirked.
> "Sure, sure. I'm Rei Yukishiro, just call me Rei. I'm looking for an easy life with as little drama as possible. That's why I told you all what I figured out earlier — so none of you drag me into trouble later."
He shoved his hands into his pockets and added,
> "Oh, and one last tip — don't talk about what we found out today. Not to other classes, not to anyone."
The room went quiet again. Some students nodded. Others just stared, unsure what to think of him.
Hirata smiled politely.
> "Rei, you seem sharp. I really hope you can be our class leader."
Rei didn't even answer. He just gave a small wave and walked out of the classroom.
> There's nothing else I can do here for now, he thought. Might as well stock up on food and relax.
Later – At the Dormitory
Rei wandered into the convenience store on campus, grabbed a few cup ramen bowls, and paid with his points.
> "Cooking's for people with patience," he muttered. "And I'm definitely not one of them."
He headed to his dorm room, kicked off his shoes, and tossed himself onto the bed. The sound of boiling water filled the small room.
> "Alright," he said lazily, "System, open."
A blue window appeared before him.
> [Current Points: 650]
Rei blinked.
> "Huh… already 650, huh? Guess changing the story pays well."
He sat up and stretched.
> "System, what can I do with this much?"
The digital voice echoed in his head.
> [Available Options:]
1. Increase basic stats (10 points per upgrade).
2. Request a low-tier power or item (minimum 500 points).
3. Use the lottery (cost: 500 points).
Rei grinned.
> "Hmm… maybe it's time to test the lottery. Who knows? I might get something fun."
He leaned back, the grin widening.
> Let's make this boring world a little more interesting
Rei stretched on his bed.
"System, do a lottery."
The wheel spun instantly.
It stopped on a blood-red icon.
> Reward gained: Muzan Kibutsuji's Healing Factor
Modified: No demon weakness. No sunlight weakness. Near-instant regeneration.
Rei's eyes widened.
Muzan's healing…? This is insane.
This means I won't die from sunlight… or any physical attack.
He smirked.
When I get a harem, this will be VERY useful.😏
Without hesitation, Rei opened the stats page.
"Increase Charm by 2."
> -20 Points
Charm +2
Points left: 130
Rei nodded. I'll save the rest for later.
He ate his cup ramen, laid back, and fell asleep almost instantly.
---
The Next Morning
Rei groggily walked into the bathroom.
One glance at the mirror —
His eyes widened.
"What the…?!"
His voice was smoother.
His face sharper, more handsome.
His jawline perfect.
His height had increased.
His entire presence felt… magnetic.
Rei smirked at his reflection.
Charm increase is no joke. This will help A LOT.
He got dressed and headed to school.
Girls walking past turned their heads.
Some even slowed down to stare.
Rei simply smirked.
As expected.
When he entered class, everyone looked at him — wide-eyed, whispering.
Ayanokoji walked in seconds later.
Rei waved. "Good morning. What's up, Ayanokoji?"
Ayanokoji nodded. "Good morning."
He sat down.
Rei leaned back.
Nothing major happens in the first month. I can relax and plan ahead.
But then he noticed Hirata approaching with three girls behind him.
Hirata smiled warmly.
"Good morning, Rei."
"Morning, Hirata."
Hirata clasped his hands.
"Rei… can you please help the class more? And maybe… become the class leader?"
Rei didn't even blink.
"I will not."
Hirata looked confused. "Why not…?"
Rei sighed.
"Hirata, I don't want to talk about this. Leave me alone. I'll decide later."
Hirata nodded politely.
"I understand."
He and the girls returned to their seats.
Ayanokoji glanced sideways.
"It seems… you're famous."
Rei shrugged.
"That's only because I figured out the system. Without that, they'd call me a useless pretty boy."
Ayanokoji nodded slightly.
Sae Chabashira entered.
The entire class fell silent instantly.
---
During the Lesson
Rei stared at the board.
His face went blank.
I don't understand ANY of this.
He whispered in his mind:
"System… how much IQ does 1 point increase?"
> '1 point = +50 IQ.'
Rei grinned.
"Then add 3 points into Intelligence."
> -30 Points
Intelligence +150
Remaining Points: 100
Rei blinked.
Suddenly, the entire board made sense.
Math, history, formulas—
everything felt like child's play.
He leaned back with a smirk.
Now this… is OP.
After some time
The bell rang, signaling lunch break.
Rei leaned back in his chair, stretching lazily. Ayanokoji glanced over.
> "Hey, Rei," he said in his calm, unreadable tone.
"What do you think is the reason students are placed into different classes here?"
Rei blinked in mild surprise. So, he's bringing this up now?
He noticed a few nearby classmates perking up, pretending not to listen but clearly eavesdropping.
> Ayanokoji already knows the answer. He's testing me.
Rei's eyes flicked toward Horikita, sitting silently as she ate her lunch.
> If I remember right, she finds out the truth next month — when she talks with Sae about her own placement in Class D. Since that hasn't happened yet…
He smirked faintly.
> This is the perfect moment to take control of the narrative — and earn some system points while I'm at it.
He leaned forward slightly, his confident grin catching everyone's attention.
> "Well," Rei began, "I think there are around four or five reasons."
The room quieted. Even those who weren't part of the conversation started turning their heads.
> "First — intelligence." Rei raised a finger.
"Second — our past actions."
"Third — physical ability."
"Fourth — emotional control."
"And lastly, our ability to work with others."
He looked around the room as he spoke, his tone calm yet sharp.
Out of the corner of his eye, Rei noticed Hirata and Kushida. Their faces had turned pale.
> So they're shaken. They probably realized the school knows things they'd rather keep hidden.
Then his gaze drifted to Horikita. Her expression was unreadable, but her eyes flickered slightly.
> As for her… she's bothered by the last one — the ability to get along with others.
A faint smirk formed on Rei's lips.
> "That's just my theory," he said casually. "Could be wrong."
Ayanokoji nodded slowly.
> "What you said makes sense."
Rei shrugged.
> "It's just so-so."
Ayanokoji gave his usual faint smile and looked away, but Rei could tell — Ayanokoji was studying him carefully.
---
After Lunch
Class resumed as usual, but Rei could feel several pairs of eyes on him throughout the afternoon.
Hirata. Kushida. Horikita.
All three glanced at him from time to time, their expressions a mix of curiosity and unease.
Rei leaned back in his seat, resting his chin on his hand, suppressing a grin.
> Looks like I've shifted the spotlight away from Ayanokoji.
Now, I'm the one everyone's watching.
Just then, a faint blue notification appeared before his eyes.
> [System Notice: You have successfully altered the timeline.]
[Reward: 300 Points.]
[Total Points: 400.]
Rei smirked, satisfied.
> Not bad for just opening my mouth.
He closed his eyes as the teacher droned on at the front of the class.
> At this rate… I'll rewrite this entire timeline in my image.
