Chapter 14 - Ch. 13: Seizure and Debate

"Let go of Alice! She'll play with me!"

"No way! I don't want to! I'll play with Alice!"

Pulled on either side opposite to both of her hands held and drawn by Eri and Edi, Alice looks flat as if she had no idea she was being contested to play with them.

"Why is it like this? Why are they fighting over me?"

There was a scream in Alice's heart, she did not expect that her attitude led to her current situation making her not understand what they wanted from her.

A little while ago.

Finished they introduced themselves to each other, Eri and Edi staring at Alice with curious faces made her a little uncomfortable.

"Why are they looking at me like that?"

The two approached each other, a very close distance which could be said to be a few inches from their faces with Alice's face.

"Can I find out why you're doing physical training?"

"Hey Alice, may I ask why you fainted that time?"

"You guys are like journalists!"

Smiling at their curiosity towards her, Alice cursed in her heart which made her not understand why they were both attracted to her as if she looked different from them.

Even though Alice did her best not to look conspicuous, hiding her busy life without anyone knowing, including her mother, except her father who already knew her physical training.

"Sweetheart, would you mind explaining to me about that physical exercise?"

"Ah..."

"It's bad... my mother really mad at me!"

Although Luna's expression smiles at her as her mother, somehow Alice feels the anger shown indirectly from her mother at her makes her confused about how to explain this to her.

"I-I'm sorry... I shouldn't have kept this from you, Mom.

The perspiration running down Alice's face makes Luna, who is silent while looking intently at her daughter, make Alice feel uncomfortable, whose mind imagines that she will be watched by maidens and her mother who make her movements restricted later.

"There's no need to get angry like that, Luna."

"What do you mean, Lisa? It's obvious my daughter's wrong right now."

"However, your daughter does it for herself, she must have her reasons. Right, Alice?"

Alice does not say anything but nods to respond to questions from Lisa who looks relaxed in front of her to calm her friend, Luna.

"But still my daughter..."

"I agree on Lisa's words. Well, at least you can hear your daughter's excuses first so you don't misstep in punishing her later that ends up full of regrets afterwards."

"....."

Reflecting on Edi's words for a second time, Luna thinks of the words of her two friends; Edi and Lisa so that she doesn't take the wrong step of punishing her daughter, Alice, which ends in regret afterward.

"Alright, I'll think about it later."

Seeing her mother succumb to the opinions of her two friends; Edid and Lisa, Alice smiles at them and approaches her mother holding her hand looking at her with a cheerful face.

"I promise you, Mom, I'll tell you in your room later."

"Yes, yes."

Seeing Alice's cheerful attitude, Luna's heart melted to see her adorable and cute daughter make her unable to punish her at this time.

"I'll listen to your opinion later."

"Yeay! Mommy not mad at me!"

Seeing Alice's cheerful and childish behavior, Luna only giggles to see her daughter as cute and adorable as it makes her convinced that the decision made was the right decision.

While Edi and Lisa see Luna no longer punish her daughter, Alice, the two exchange glances with each other while smiling even though they were previously hostile to each other, but sometimes they can get along with one thing.

Alice who returns to them, Ken and Eri who look curious are forced to answer their curiosities in spite of being peppered by lies in them.

"The reason I train physically for myself is that I want to be strong so that I can be the next heir to the throne."

"Whoa! You're absolutely incredible, Alice!"

"Hehehe... Thank you."

According to Alice, it is considered normal for her to understand the other world systems she lives in through comic books or novels that she is now learning, so she is not surprised if she does this for the first time.

"What about you who fainted at the time?"

"Hmmm..."

Thinking for a moment about responding to Eri's answer, Alice thought the question from her looked ambiguous.

If Alice is telling the truth because she reads a book about common knowledge to learn magic to make her strong, there is a possibility that not only Eri but also both of their parents are like Edi and Lisa who are interested in her.

"Well, you could say that I was just curious so I tried but ended up unconscious."

Giggling at Alice's answer, Eri, pretending not to know about it, assumes that she only knows that Alice is unconscious, even though she already knows that Alice is different from herself and Ken.

"Then, can you answer my question again?"

"Then, can you answer my question again?"

"Ahahaha..."

The two team up to throw questions at Alice, causing Alice to only let out a small laugh in front of them.

"They are talented to be news reporters," she complained in her inner self to see their curious behavior.

"Forget about it. Why don't I ask you guys something because I've answered your questions to get to know each other?"

"Sure, no problem."

"Yeah, I don't mind either."

The two who seemed to agree made Alice feel relieved that she was free from their questions, making her not want to ask them something simple but something that could keep this conversation from making them ask her anything again.

Nodding on her, Alice had got the idea to keep this conversation going so that the two of them wouldn't throw questions at her like before.

"What did you do all this time before we got to know each other?"

The two exchanged silent glances and looked at Alice.

"For me, I always play the wooden doll my mother made in my room."

Nodding at Eri's reply, Alice looked at Ken with a curious look on her face. Not only Alice, Eri also wants to know what Ken did before they knew each other.

"I... Let's just say I'm playing the knight's game..."

While imagining it in her mind, a smile is seen on Ken's lips as he opens his eyes after being closed imagining those times, looking at Alice and Eri in turn.

"I see."

"The knight's play... the men's game..."

"You know about this, Eri?"

'Yes,' Eri nodded who looked at Alice. "It can be said that the game is required to be played by many people, for a minimum it can be said by two people."

Understanding what Eri explains, Alice imagines what kind of chivalrous play is in her mind.

To Alice's knowledge, the chivalrous play is like a typical chivalrous role in dedicating herself as a protector or shield to both the person she protects and the attacker or sword to those who harm the person she protects.

However, Alice doubts that the game is similar to the original because she never knew what the knight's game was like, not wanting to speculate without knowing the rules and conditions for playing the game.

"Ah, right. About the wooden puppet play, can I know what you're playing, Eri?"

Staring back at Eri, as much as Alice could keep the conversation between them trying to avoid a string of questions from them to her.

"Yes," nodded Eri who did not mind to explain to Alice. "You could say that I played family games in wooden dolls, prince's and princess's, restaurant attendants against royalty, and many more."

"The extraordinary thought of her child."

Appearing in awe of Eri's imagination when explaining to Alice, Alice feels that she was immature before her reincarnation came here, perhaps she will end up like them, having an extraordinary imagination.

But unfortunately, adult thinking has been in him for a long time, making it impossible for him to imagine other than creating more basic magic because he can't hallucinate as he did when middle and high school girls in his old life as Nia.

"Can we do that game later?"

"Yes, of course."

"No, I object!"

What do you mean?

"I object because Alice would rather play with you than me!"

"It was I who should have said that he was more worthy to play with me than to play with you, a game of chivalry devoted to men."

"No way!"

"I'm the same!"

Eri and Ken, the two grab Alice's hand and pull her over to make her decide who to choose.

Does she have to have a knight's play recommended by Edi or a wooden puppet play played by Eri? Both of them were curious as they kept pulling Alice's hand while waiting for her decision.

"Someone help me... I don't want to be fought over like the goods right now!"

A shout in the heart was heard from Alice's heart, wishing there was someone who had a sixth sense who could hear the other person's heart as Alice feels at this time.

"Everyone, calm down! I'll decide who will play with me."

The two who were silent, they let go of Alice's hand made Alice relieved because they were not as stubborn as before.

"Children are terrible."

If Alice doesn't mediate between them, they'll fight over it again, making her not want it to happen again, so she chooses to think of a solution to keep the two from being jealous of each other.

"Well, then, how about you decide by doing a suit?"

"Suit?"

"Ah, that's right."

Just remembering that she was in the middle ages, Alice knew that having them do a suit would be difficult to do so that there would be no envy from them because the suit didn't exist in the middle ages.

"Like this..."

Performed in front of them, Alice gives an example of making hand gestures form; scissors, stones, paper that make Eri and Ken exchange glances and nod, understanding what Alice is doing.

"If you use paper, your opponent uses stone then you win."

Exemplarily with both hands before them, Alice shows them the weaknesses and strengths of one form with another.

"If you fight paper, you use scissors then you win. If your opponent uses scissors, you use stones and you win."

Eri and Ken listen to each other's explanation, nodding to understand what she says making them look at each other ready to do the suit Alice proposed to them.

"They look like each other."

"Yes, you're right."

Edi and Lisa smile at each other at Alice's behavior similar to Luna's interference between Eri, the daughter of Lisa and Ken, Edi's son who makes them dejavu over their past always quarreling with each other because of their dislike.

"I don't know why they both remind me of someone."

At first glance, Luna's crimson eyes looked at Lisa and Edi, who saw their child, Eri and Ken, making her believe that their child looked like them, both parents.

Seeing their child's behavior, they are confident that they will become close to each other when the two begin to get familiar with the game they want to show Alice, Luna's daughter.

But, that's all at another time. Where Alice plays with Eri's favorite game, and Ken will.
