‎ ‎Johnny Zoomer Allen and his four best friends – Aiden Autumns, the air fox; Fiona Tonkin, the fire fox; Jude Eddy Great, the black tiger; and Echo Schwartz, the mermaid – had received full scholarships to Winters High Academy (WHA), one of the top eight universities in the US. The eight top schools in the country, ranked from highest to lowest, were: Winters High Academy (WHA), Braxton Academy (BA), Greenwoods Schools (GRS), Taylorsville High (THI), Martins Colleges (MACO), Archives College of Education (ACOE), Fega High (FH), and Norway High (NOH). In a world where anthropomorphic creatures like themselves were viewed as abnormal and dangerous, often facing discrimination and prejudice from humans, these five friends thought they were getting a chance at a normal life. ‎ ‎As Johnny and his friends arrived at the academy by sea, they made new friends and enemies among their fellow students. They befriended Ruslan Armstrong Andrew, the lion, and Emrys Depp, the eagle, among others. Soon, they discovered that their scholarships were not what they seemed. The academy was actually a magical school for anthropomorphic creatures, designed to protect both humans and animals from magical threats and to keep magic out of the wrong hands, particularly those of Queen Quentella, the ruler of the ancient empire of Chaldea. ‎ ‎However, Johnny soon learned that he and seven others were key to an ancient prophecy that would bring Queen Quentella to power. He also discovered that he had to navigate complex relationships, including a crush on Emma Daniels, the pink cat; rivalries with Harold Douglas, the green cat, and his friends, Matrix Rubio, the robot dog, and Armstrong Lysander, the dino shifter; and the mysterious dealings of his father's cousin, Armand Allen, Ingrid Mason, and Curtis Vamos. Additionally, Johnny had to contend with his own unique abilities as an elemental and his MAGAN and MICAN deities summoning powers, as well as his newly discovered were-cat powers, which he had revealed on Halloween midnight. ‎ ‎Furthermore, a mysterious cloak had been terrorizing the land, stealing horses from their owners, killing the owners in the process, and taking the horses to only God-knows-where. As Johnny and his friends uncovered more about the prophecy and the academy's true purpose, they realized that the powerful StarLord gem was in danger of falling into the wrong hands – those of the monsters given to them by Armand Allen, who sought to break free from the Lystra Demons' blood curse. With the galaxy on the brink of turmoil, Johnny and his friends had to join forces to protect it and prevent the rise of Queen Quentella to absolute power. ‎ ‎
