It was mid-morning, when Kira came to the training ground. Nyx was still there.
"Raziel sent me. He's concerned." She told her.
"He can be concerned from a distance then."
"He's also sorry. He won't say it directly because he's a stubborn ass, but he regrets how the argument went." Kira sat on the bench where Arthur sat sometime before. "You know what, you're both right and both wrong."
"That's very helpful of you."
"Raziel is right that teaching hybrids now is politically dangerous. You're right that waiting is cowardice. He's right to worry about you. You're right to refuse to live in fear."
"So what do we do?"
"Talk. Remember you're on the same side or you can stay angry, push him away, and handle everything alone. Your choice."
"Why do you care? You've been skeptical of me from the beginning."
