As Curtis sat down on the sofa, he had a poker face on, his mind ruminating on some thoughts. He saw his parents glanced at each other and his father coughed slightly, clearing his throat.
"I want you to know that we love you Curtis. Your mom and I have suffered silently when we saw you broken and in pain. And we decided that no matter what happens in this life, we'll live to see you happy henceforth" Adrian Rodney began.
He paused and glanced at his wife. Lisa nodded in agreement with what her husband was saying. Which parents wouldn't think like they're doing, seeking only happiness for their son.
"Due to what has happened in the past, we understand what heart break has caused you emotionally and psychologically…" Adrian continued.
Curtis was not comfortable anymore. They should just go ahead with the discussion. He already knows his parents love him.
