Right now, Selina just wanted this whole thing over with. The thought of Evelin stepping out of the bathroom and catching her wrapped up in Rey's embrace made her stomach twist with mortification.
So she didn't hesitate—she looped her arms around his neck and brushed her lips against his, quick as a butterfly's wing.
Rey gazed down at her. "Really? You treating me like some teenager? That's supposed to be a kiss?"
Irritation clawed at her chest, but she didn't have time to get pissy about it.
She pressed her mouth to his again, harder this time.
This wasn't some gentle peck—she drew his bottom lip between hers, letting her tongue sweep inside with growing hunger.
When she pulled back, she shot him a look. "Better?"
He studied her with narrowed eyes.
The bathroom sounds made her muscles coil tight.
Eve's wrapping up her shower—she'll be out any moment, she realized.
"You have to go!" she whispered urgently.
