Every pair of eyes swiveled toward Jimmy.
His eyelashes barely flickered, but his face remained stone-cold as he said flatly, "I don't love her, but that doesn't mean I'll tolerate you."
Without another word, Jimmy walked straight into the building.
Dalton scrambled after him, shock written all over his face.
Dalton had worked alongside Jimmy for years. Nobody knew better than he did how much this ice-cold, ruthless man actually cared about Evelin.
Yet here Jimmy was, claiming he no longer loved her.
'What the hell went down between Mr. Hamilton and Evelin on that island?' Dalton wondered.
When Jimmy had ordered him to fly to the island and escort Evelin back to Bonnie City, Dalton could already tell something was wrong between them.
Back then, he'd assumed Jimmy was just sulking after some fight with Evelin. He never imagined Jimmy would publicly announce he didn't love her anymore.
'How is that even possible?' Dalton thought, completely stunned.
