Evelin's POV
I saw Margot wince, her hand flying to her throat as memories of Jimmy's grip flooded back. Fear flickered across her features.
"I just hate how Evelin made our connection sound so cheap, like some kind of deal," Margot muttered.
"A deal?" Jimmy's voice stayed level. "That's exactly what it was. You gave up an eye for Hamilton family privileges."
Margot went rigid. The airshow's finale saved her from responding as Grace climbed out of the cockpit, practically glowing with self-satisfaction.
Reporters swarmed her like vultures, microphones thrust forward.
I noticed several news crews that had clearly been bought and paid for, ready to sing Grace's praises.
Grey hovered near Grace's elbow.
"Ms. Bennett, any truth to the rumors about you and Mr. Ford?" a reporter pressed.
Grey froze, but Grace jumped in with a radiant smile. "Absolutely. Grey and I are together."
Congratulations flew from every direction.
