Jasmin's POV
The rogue's laughter echoed across the mountain cliffs, cold and final. "Now forget about seeing her again in this lifetime." His voice carried a cruel satisfaction as he continued, "She is gone, and it's my time to go too."
Before Alpha Parker could react, the rogue bit down hard on his own tongue.
Blood erupted from his mouth. His body jerked violently before going completely still.
Dead.
"No! NO!" Alpha Alonzo's anguished scream tore through the air. "Mariyah! Mariyah!" He threw himself forward, desperate to break through the invisible barrier that held him back. His wolf blazed in his eyes as he fought against the magical restraint.
