"So, how are things going with your mystery Anchor?" Alcione asked as they took a seat in the dining hall.
After a long, gruelling tactical course, they were all in desperate need of refueling. He dug into his mountain of food as he waited for the Striker to answer.
"Nothing has changed. I haven't been able to see him lately," Lucien said quietly.
Alcione raised a brow. "So he's a him?"
Lucien nodded. He was almost certain. After that hug they shared during their anchoring session, he could feel the lean muscles in his body. He had the physiognomy of a man, not as strong as him, but on his way there.
"And you still don't know their identity?"
"I wouldn't be in this situation if I did."
"Wow, I'm honestly surprised you were able to hold back this long. The Lucien I know would be stopped at nothing to find out who this Anchor is, the one who dared to slight him," Alcione joked.
