Chapter 99: Ancestral Cliff Jumping
"Mm... I'm not dead?" The person on top of Masahiko let out a groan.
Masahiko frowned. The voice sounded slightly familiar.
"You're not dead, but this old man is about to be crushed to death by you!"
"Ah! I'm sorry!" The person on top of Masahiko fumbled to stand up and reached out a hand to help Masahiko up.
Masahiko frowned tightly as he saw the face of the person in front of him clearly. Uchiha Kagami!
"Old grandpa, are you okay?" Uchiha Kagami kept his eyes tightly shut, his face full of worry.
Masahiko reached out his hand and let Kagami pull him up. "I'm fine, young man. Your eyes?"
Uchiha Kagami smiled. "It's nothing!"
Masahiko pressed on. "Did you commit suicide because you went blind?"
Uchiha Kagami shook his head. He fumbled his way forward a short distance, formed a few hand seals, and a small crack opened in the ground before him, revealing a small box inside.
Uchiha Kagami took out the box and opened it. A pair of three-tomoe Sharingan appeared before Masahiko.
Masahiko couldn't quite understand the operation that followed. Uchiha Kagami took the eyes and installed them directly back into his eye sockets, restoring his vision.
"So, the strongest feature of the Sharingan is actually that it's plug-and-play, right?" Masahiko's mouth twitched.
"Old grandpa, you look a bit familiar?" Uchiha Kagami asked in confusion.
Masahiko waved his hand. "Maybe you've seen me somewhere before... You are an Uchiha clansman? You hid your eyes before committing suicide; why did you want to kill yourself?"
