"Are we going to Table Tales?" Priyan said...
"Bhai, I think that place is kind of crowded," said Subho.
"Like, I've heard a lot about it. Will we even get an entry? Are you sure?" he asked, worried.
"Hey, just don't worry. Ankush has already reserved tables for us." said Priyan.
"Then it's fine!" Subho said.
"Subho don't worry brother... We will not let your day be a waste. Kuch toh karenge!" Rohini said with a wide smile.
"What do you mean, baby?" Ankush asked.
"Arey, it's his birthday , so we'll celebrate that's what I meant!" Rohini replied, teasing him.
"Kut*e ka birthday it is," she said and started laughing.
"Aaj ke din bhi…" Subho rolled his eyes.
"Yes ofc," Rohini teased again.
"Tu pagal hai !" Subho laughed.
"Tu pagal hai," Rohini shot back.
"Bro, you guys are still like that," Ankush said, shaking his head.
Rohini and Subho burst out laughing.
By the time we reached our destination—Table Tales—we parked our car in the parking area.
"Guys, I've booked a Private Dining Room only for 6 of us," Ankush announced proudly.
"Very good , baby. Look at him—my boyfriend… sorry, fiancé—is so smart," Rohini said dramatically.
"Yeah yeah, very very smart," Shakshi rolled her eyes.
Subho laughed. "Yup, idea toh kisi ke dimaag mein bhi nahi aa sakta, behen," he replied with his usual huge smile.
"Abbe shut up! Don't think I won't beat you up on your birthday," Ankush said.
Subho smiled.
"Arey, maine galat kya bola?" he asked, still smiling wide.
"Come on, guys! Let's go!" I said.
"Yeah, yeah! Let's go!" Shakshi joined in.
We asked one of the waiters, and he showed us our cabin.
It was beautifully decorated with birthday banners, balloons, and everything a party requires.
"Wow, it's so beautiful! Thank you, guys!" Subho said to us.
I was really happy to see him—seeing him smile after so many years. His laughter was everything for me. Par shaadi ke baad… after their wedding… a a storm of fear kept haunting me. I thought I wouldn't see him smile again.
We settled onto the couches—Rohini, Shakshi, and I sharing one.
Ankush took the seat in front of Rohini, Priyan sat across from Shakshi, and Subho sat directly in front of me.
I couldn't look straight at him. That situation… I was very shy. Actually, I still am. Call me anything, but I don't know… to be honest.
The memories were bittersweet but will always have a special place in my heart.
Today is his birthday. I still remember the birthday celebration Rohini planned for me, so I could celebrate my birthday with him… because I always wanted to.
He asked me to invite his girlfriend as well, but it shattered my heart.
But maybe God was with me that day… she stayed only for two minutes. She didn't even get a chance to eat the birthday cake!
Actually, Subho ka birthday is actually a day before hum our i mean—my and Ankush's —birthdays ar, on the same day.
My birthday and Ankush's birthday is on 27 September , Subho's birthday 26 September.just a day before our birthday..!
So,tomorrow Ankush's birthday it is .
And also in evening Mehendi ka function!!!
