"Coming!!!" I shouted.
I quickly got ready and opened the door — and then I froze for a moment.
"Subho… what are you doing upstairs? Didn't you go down?" I asked.
He glanced at me and replied softly,
"I was just leaving. Priyan called. He told me you're still up here and asked me to bring you. So… I came to call you."
"Oh… okay. I'm coming. Let's go," I said.
"Cool. I think I left my phone upstairs. You go down, I'll get it," I told him.
"It's fine. I'll wait," Subho said.
Wait....?
"Oh… okay."
"I found it. Let's go now!"
"Yeah," he replied.
We went downstairs together.
I wished him"Happy Birthday!"with all the courage I had.
He thanked me, and we exchanged a small smile.
"You guys came! "Ankush said.
"Nahi bhi It's our ghost "...Subho said.
"you both are not less ghosts" ... replied Rohini
" OMG!... already supporting your future husband..." Subho teased.
"You guys came together!" said shakshi with a teasing smile.
"Guys we're going out together after a long time....
Like i was in touch with Ankush... Rohini...I met them also...Priyan k sath bhi i talked but not all of us together....like after 10th Standard..." said Subho eyes filled with nostalgia.
But I was still thinking about his girlfriend Neha…He used to talk about her so much. And it affected me a lot.
But now… no one even mentioned her.
Not even once.... like he loved her so much back then !...

"What are you thinking about?" Rohini asked.
"Nothing," I replied quickly.
"You look sooo cute, baby girl! My baby girl!" Rohini teased.
"Shut up…" I muttered, blushing.
"By the way, you and Subho came together? Like only you two?" Sakshi asked with a grin.
"Umm… stop it," I said, embarrassed.
Ankush asked Rohini to sit with him.
We nodded.
"Sakshi and Ananya, you two sit together. I'll sit in the front with Subho," Priyan said.
"Subho, sit with me," Priyan insisted.
Priyan started driving, and Subho sat beside him.
We all settled into our seats, ready to go !!!
"So… where exactly are we going?" I wondered.
