The rest of the day was spent with Lindi and multiple visitors from the other huts on this level. I remember watching shows were neighbors would come and borrow a cup of sugar, but here, they were really doing that.
Though there were plenty of supplies, it was difficult to go between the mountain layers to get to them. Since most of the men were out shoveling the pathways, the women had a chance to get out and stretch their legs.
Well, everyone except me, but I had the tunnels and had no interest in falling face first into the snow. I made a mental note to have one of my husbands go to the upper level through the tunnels to bring back some more supplies.
I had to wonder though if they were really needed to borrow supplies or if they were using it as an excuse to come and socialize. Most of them had heard that my husbands and I were pivotal in the removal of Dala from power.
