Two days ago, Griffin made his first mistake in months. He used one of his credit cards.
After six months of careful planning and hiding, whatever resources he had stockpiled were finally running dry. The bastard had gotten careless, and that carelessness was going to cost him everything.
Our hired tech specialist picked up the transaction immediately. His laptop pinged, and within minutes, we had the call we'd been waiting for.
The three of us dropped everything and raced to Deon's location, hearts pounding with the first real hope we'd felt in months.
