Prince Gareth has a celebration of his 16th birthday in 2 weeks, after years of training, he can finally cast advanced level spells. As a dragon his elemental control is extremely powerful, and he is particularly fond of lightning spells.
Gareth quietly approached the throne room, entering from a secret path leading him behind the thrones, as he appears he jumps out startling the queen, Antoinette screams and the guards all jump into their battle stance, as king Lucian laughs. "Gareth how dare you scare me!" Scolds Antoinette. The guards all relax and try and hide their smiles as Gareth laughs while hugging his mother. "Mom, I want to travel our kingdom before the banquet, I think it's time for me to see the world and explore things for myself." Said Gareth. Antoinette and Lucian reluctantly agreed, for even the prince must learn how this world works.
As Gareth explores his country, his childhood friend Anna accompanies him. Anna is the generals daughter, as Gareth turns 16 she will turn 17 on the same day, she is his sworn protector, the greatest honor for a dragon warrior, her fire spells can melt any metals known, and despite her young age, she is a fearsome warrior.
"Gareth, can we stay in this city longer? I'm sick of camping outside." Anna asks. "Whats wrong Anna, you don't like sharing a tent with me?" Asks Gareth, teasing her. Anna's face turns a slight pink, as she never expected such a remark from her Prince. Before she can respond, Gareth agreed and books a room with 2 beds in the inn. As they settle into the room Anna's curvy figure can be seen by Gareth, Anna has sky blue eyes, curvy hips, with a thin, toned stomach, long silver hair and a large bust. Without her armor, one might mistake her as a tender girl, but all dragons are fierce warriors, and Anna, despite being particularly fierce, always had a soft spot for Gareth. "Gareth, why must you go to the academy after your 16th birthday?" Asks Anna as she laid down and looks towards Gareth. "Anna, you know my betrothed is there, and I also need to see other races, and learn about their cultures also." Gareth gently explains to Anna. Anna looks towards him, and suddenly exclaims. "Fine, then I shall accompany you also. It is my duty after all." Gareth smiles and agreed. Having a friend will always be a good thing, and Anna is his only friend.
