Chapter 2 - Chapter Two: A Point of No Return

After everything that had happened, I sat down and took a deep breath, staring into the horizon as the cold wind brushed against my face."Hah… so this is the beginning?" I murmured to myself with a note of pride, as if I were a king surveying his lands for the first time.

The view before me was breathtaking: a river shimmering under the sunlight, scattered trees, and green hills stretching endlessly. In that moment, I imagined myself commanding an army of knights and mages, raising my banner high…But a moment of excitement collided with reality.

"Wait… what now?"I looked around, searching for any interface, any quest, anything! No health bar. No stats. No missions. No guiding voice."Has the game glitched?" I muttered, trying the menus to no avail.

Suddenly—Bzzz!A transparent blue screen appeared before me.

[Do you intend to build your base here?]

I froze. "H-huh? My base? Here? Now?"I took a step back, then sat down from shock. A long silence… then I laughed.I laughed like someone who just discovered a treasure. "So this is how it starts, huh?"

I reached out and said with a cocky smile, "Yes!"

But barely a second later, new prompts appeared:

[Are you sure?][You will not be able to change the location after choosing.][Repeat confirmation: Are you sure?]

I raised my eyebrows and chuckled, "Three times? You have no idea who you're dealing with!"Then I pressed "Yes" for the third time.

In that moment, white light exploded around me, engulfing everything.I shielded my face with my arms, and when the glow faded, luminous lines marked the boundaries of my first kingdom.Small… but mine.

[Base created successfully.][Current area: 40×40 meters.][You can expand the territory once requirements are met.]

I looked around thoughtfully. "Alright… my first land. But where are the resources? No mines? No crates? Do I have to build everything myself?"

I sighed deeply and chuckled softly. "Great, the game decided I should start from absolute zero."Yet, a strange sense of calm washed over me."Perhaps this is better. No one's waiting for me in the real world anyway…"

I smiled sadly, murmuring:"As long as time moves faster here, I'll live here. Here alone."

My first task began: gathering resources.A stick… a stone… something to make a spear. While exploring, I found berry bushes. I saw a rabbit eating from them, so I took some with relief."At least I won't starve today."

I ate, drank from the river, and returned with a handful of sticks and stones.Everything seemed perfect until I remembered one simple thing…"Damn! The ropes! How did I forget them?!"

I stood in place, staring at the sky, saying:"Game, is a little help too much to ask for?"

But no response.Only the wind… and the sound of birds.
