THIRTY
"You're back??" Lila said as she fixated her eyes on the figure that was standing at a distance from her.
She could see it. Coldness in his eyes that he was trying so much to hide. Since they had met he had never for once smile which made her wonder of he could smile. She knew psychology a little bit and she could see that the had barriers around him and kept a safe distance from her as though he detached himself from her...and everyone else it made her wonder of his guard could lower even a little bit.
She quietly shook away these taughts. He mealy saved her life because he was there when hers father was about to harm her and protected her from him. She could not even narrow it to the fact that he might even be attracted to her.
What Lila didnt know was the fact that she had a huge amount of low self esteem.
"Why are you here??"
"Just because.." it was akward between them both and the adwardness was chilling...Lila summoned up her courage and said solemnly
"I should leave.."
"To where?"
"Any where it's inappropriate to stay on your home"
"Why not??"
"What if your family sees me?? " Since when she came to this room he had not allowed her outside the room, he claimed that it was too dangerous for her but she felt like he was hiding her from his family.
"I don't have one. I only have a brother but he's unavailable at the moment
"I'm sorry." Lila said realizing that she might have poked hos sore spot.
"Don't be.." his eyes displayed no emotion whatsoever as he talked about his family....what on earth had he gone through??
"Stay here for the time being I don't want you to go out yet. My home is dangerous for you." That was when she remembered that there were vampires...
"I understand" he was already being kind enough to her and she knew she would only serve as food to vampires if she went out....
