This is why he plan to use his newly improved planet body to create them. He wants to bind them by becoming their father.

The child he made always have rock bodies probably due to him being a planet. This is not what he wants. He wants his child... I mean army to be flesh and blood. This way he can at least mantain the tiny bit of humanity he has left. Though not like he has any to begin with.
Soon Kael turn his attention into aliens and humans. He tried to create a child that can accomadate his power.
Unfortunately, it never works. The child would ether explode or be failures.
When he tried to create a human one using batman's dna and it just burst.
When he tried to create one with wonder woman's dna, he finally found the source of her dormant lighting powers which he also use to create "soul" which turned out to be the bloodline of some sort of god. He is not touching that.
When he use martian manhunter's dna. They inherited martian manhunter's weaknesses to fire. So Kael destroyed them.
Thankfully just as Kael was confused on what to do. He found a spacepod and in it hold something that be his breakthrough.
It was a kriptonian. It probably has some sort of relation to superman. Unfortunately, he already use all of his stored superman dna to create superboy so he can't fact check it.
Soon Kael took the genetic information of the kriptonian and set her spacepod to earth so she can meet superman and superboy.
Kael use the dna from the kriptonian to create his child. Soon a child was born. It was the most perfect child that Kael has made. Thanks to the data provided by that kriptonian by scanning and taking samples of her body, Kael was able to make this child more complete.
Thanks to Kael's manipulation, the child lost the kriptonian weakness of the red sun and kriptonite. The child can't even be called kriptonian, he is technically a whole new species. Kael also age him up to ten years old and imbue knowledge into the child's mind.
To mantain his connection, Kael made the child draw his powers from his star brain. He made the child's life tied to his own. With powers similar to superman except heat breath and frost breath which is replace with a sonic scream and a gravitational field ability.
Kael decided to name him "naisu" or "nice". He wil be the first of the viltrum race.
Soon new children start being born, about 99 of them. This time Kael decided to make their connection to himself weaker and age them all to their teens. Kael also decided that nice will be their leader and his spokeperson. These 99 children will be named by the order they were created from one to ninetynine.
Soon Kael's biological children army is complete.
If only Kael has superman's dna. Maybe they will be stronger. After all Kael found that superman's dna seem to hold more information and power than the kriptonian he use.
Hope the kriptonian won't be mad. After all he help send her to meet who is probably the last of her people.
