Chapter 73 - New World in the Void

Angel International Supervisor: @Super Block Man, Big Boss, Super Seminary has detected an anomaly!

Ian hadn't checked the Group Chat in a long time. Everyone was busy lately, as their respective worlds were getting on track, and they didn't have much time for casual chatting. He would only occasionally check on Shawn's situation.

Super Block Man: What kind of anomaly has you so panicked?

Angel International Supervisor: We recently discovered a strange rift through the Void Rift, suspected of leading to another Otherworld. However, the Void is too strong, and we can't send anyone to investigate.

'A new Otherworld?' Ian's eyes lit up. He immediately put down the Potato Chips, and finally told Kevin in the group chat, "I'll be right there."

"Brother, where are you going? I want to go too!" Erii asked, blinking her bright, big eyes.

Ian smiled: "There might be danger this time. I'll take you to play after I confirm it's safe, alright?"

Erii was a little disappointed but nodded obediently. Ian then teleported away, heading to the Super Seminary World.

At the edge of the Void in the Super Seminary World, Ge and several team members were patrolling.

Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared before them.

"What are you guys doing here?" Ian asked casually after landing.

"True Monarch!" Ge became excited when he saw Ian.

"I heard you guys found an Otherworld?"

Ge pointed to the Void Portal: "True Monarch, that's the rift we found. It seems to lead to another world."

Ian activated his Heaven's Eye and looked through the distorted Void, faintly discerning the outline of another world.

"Oh? It really looks like it. I'll go check it out first. You guys guard the Portal."

"Brother Yang, do you want us to accompany you?" Ge asked worriedly, concern in his eyes.

"You'd better not. In that Void environment, you'd be dead in a minute."

"Also, don't worry about me. I'm very strong."

Ge opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but ultimately just nodded and left. Ian was right; he was still too weak.

After they walked away, Ian immediately plunged into the Void Rift.

The moment he entered the Void, the Void Energy surged towards him, eroding his body and mind. His Health also dropped rapidly, losing nearly one-thousandth of his Health in a few seconds, though it instantly recovered immediately after falling.

But this was the limit of the Void's erosion. Ian adapted to the environment, and his Health stopped dropping.

Before he could proceed, a large swarm of Void Creatures suddenly appeared around him. They came in all shapes, from small like mice to large enough to rival planets, and all charged towards him.

"Troublesome, I've been discovered." Ian frowned, waving his hand to repel a few small Void Creatures, but more Monsters swarmed in.

'These guys aren't hard to deal with, but it would be troublesome if I attracted the big shots of the Void.' He didn't engage in mass slaughter, instead trying to discreetly deal with the approaching Void Creatures.

If he genuinely alarmed the terrifying existences deep within the Void, while he himself could retreat safely, the Super Seminary World and the newly discovered world would probably be doomed.

Just as Ian was about to pass through the Void to the new world, the Transmutation Tablet he carried suddenly vibrated, and a prompt appeared before his eyes:

[HIGH CONCENTRATION VOID ENERGY DETECTED. UNKNOWN MOD UNLOCKABLE.]

[ENERGY COLLECTING... WARNING: CURRENT ENERGY LEVEL TOO HIGH. ENERGY COLLECTOR MK3 UNABLE TO COLLECT.]

[SUGGESTION: ABSORB DIRECTLY THROUGH HOST'S BODY.]

"What? Energy Collector MK3 can't collect it? I have to do it myself?"

'It seems that plans never keep up with changes.' He split off an Avatar. "You are responsible for scouting the new world. I'll stay here to absorb the Void Energy."

The Avatar nodded, turning into a golden light and flying towards the rift. Ian, meanwhile, slowly teleported deep into the Void, far away from Super Seminary World and the new world, and began to cautiously absorb the Void Energy.

"This Energy Value is rising too slowly," Ian muttered to himself while hunting the surrounding Void Creatures and throwing their corpses into the Transmutation Tablet to convert them into Energy.

On the other side, Ian's Avatar flew to the new world's Portal and found a Magic Array there.

"Interesting, someone has set up defensive measures and also forbidden spatial movement." Ian examined the layered Magic Array before him. These Magic Arrays flickered with blue and purple light and were clearly there to prevent Void Creatures from invading.

But these were meaningless to Ian. He directly activated the Void Ring, ignoring the Magic Array, and entered the interior of the Temple.

Minecraft's teleportation only looks like teleportation, but the principle is actually different. Ian didn't traverse space; he just disappeared from one side and reappeared on the other.

The air in the bottom of the Temple was humid. The walls were covered with Moss. The light of the Magic Array illuminated this dark space, making it appear ancient and mysterious. In the center of the hall, there was a broken Statue, with only the lower half remaining.

Suddenly, Ian's gaze was drawn to a series of Murals on the wall. He walked closer for a detailed look. Although the Murals were a bit mottled, the general outlines were still discernible. The Murals depicted a magnificent City, with a huge disk-shaped building in the center, surrounded by several massive figures of varying forms floating around.

"This... looks like Shurima's Ascension Disc."

He continued to walk along the Murals. An image of a Celestial Warrior bearing a great sword made him stop. 'Isn't this Aatrox?' The figure in the Mural looked exactly like the Aatrox of the Arbiter Blade skin.

'It seems this is the League of Legends Universe, or a related Parallel Universe.'

Looking at Aatrox's figure, a frustrated voice seemed to echo in Ian's ear.

Find your own problem! Find your own problem! What do you mean Shurima lost and should find its own problem?

Noxus invaded you, why don't you find your own problem?

Piltover discharges waste gas into your ancestral home, why don't you find your own problem?

Your mages get arrested in Demacia, why don't you find your own problem?

Freljord goes hungry in winter, why don't you find your own problem?

...

Nafiri is the MVP! Why care so much about the rating system? It will alienate all human efforts...

Azir is just a dog that got carried!

...

Ian fell silent. Suddenly, a flickering object caught his attention.

He walked closer and found a pair of golden Gauntlets resting on a stone platform.

"Aren't these Ezreal's Gauntlets?" Ian picked them up, ready to buy them into the Transmutation Tablet. "Sorry, little blonde guy, first come, first served."

The moment he picked up the Gauntlets, the Transmutation Tablet suddenly vibrated, and the prompt sounded:

[LARGE AMOUNT OF OTHERWORLD ENERGY DETECTED. PORTAL ESTABLISHMENT CONDITIONS MET.]

[OTHERWORLD ENERGY FULL. MODULES TO UNLOCK *1.]

'As expected, Ezreal is the favored son of the League of Legends Universe. Just one piece of his equipment gives so much Energy!' Ian pondered. 'Should I "take care" of him more often in the future?'

If he sent him to Rek'Sai, he should receive quite a bit of Otherworld Energy.

"Never mind that for now. Unlock the module!"
