After dinner, the two went home separately.
The Next Morning — 10:00 AM
At Lin Group Headquarters, a stylish woman stepped out of her car — Sophia Song, accompanied by her hospital team.
A slightly overweight middle-aged man spotted her and hurried over, eyes bright.
"Hello! You must be Miss Sophia Song, president of Song Hospital. The rumors didn't exaggerate — you really are stunning! I'm Andrew Wu, Marketing Director of Lin Group. A pleasure!"
Sophia smiled politely and shook his hand."Hello, Director Wu."
They were soon brought into a conference room. After tea was served, Andrew got straight to business.
"President Song, Young Master Alex gave instructions last night. We'll approve the equipment purchase on credit, with interest at the current bank rate."
Sophia reviewed the contract carefully and nodded."Everything looks good. Let's proceed."
Andrew smiled."Excellent. And the equipment has already been rushed to the city. You'll receive it tomorrow. Installation will be completed the following day."
Sophia blinked in disbelief.
"So fast?"
Normally, a purchase of large medical equipment took days to transport — and nearly a week including assembly and calibration.
But Alex had made it happen in two days.
"Young Master Alex insisted," Andrew added proudly. "He wanted your hospital earning money again as soon as possible."
Sophia felt warmth bloom in her chest.
"And," Andrew continued, "if you're unsure how to dispose of your old equipment, we can take them off your hands at a favorable price."
Sophia's eyes lit up.
That equipment was expensive, took up space, and had to be sold to licensed buyers — who usually low-balled and delayed.
"And if you agree, we can collect them today," Andrew said politely.
"Thank you, Director Wu. Truly — thank you to the Lin Group for this support."
Everything was handled smoothly — faster than she ever imagined.Sophia left feeling light, as if a huge weight had lifted.
All of this… because of one man.
"By the way," she asked, "where's your young master? I haven't seen him today."
Andrew sighed dramatically."Probably still asleep. He has a title here, but we've never seen him before noon. His parents are… worried."
"So he likes to sleep in," Sophia laughed. "Don't worry — he's more capable than you think. He'll grow into the role."
"I hope so…" Andrew muttered.
On the Way Back — Sophia texting Alex
Sophia:I went to your company today. Everything's settled. Thank you again!
Alex:You're welcome
