In the withering season of autumn, the leaves had left their homes, the grass had dried completely, no animal migration to be seen anywhere.
But it was coming to an end, short streams of greenful strips of grass were sprouting, almost unnoticable
'Ah I guess it's really the end of the end' said Smile to himself, as he was on his way to his school
It was a boy, about the age of 14 soon enough turning 15, he was in a wary mood because he didn't like the life around him much.
He had pale skin, he had black pupils which were quite rare, he had a lean physique with a lazy aura around him, he eyes did not have dark circles yet people could guess he doesn't sleep much, taking a look at his dead eyes.
Wearing somewhat prestigious uniform, because the school he was studying wasn't a random one. It was the 'Academy of Stars'
A prestigious school in the country of Jade
Smile soon saw a lot of students near him
Some looked younger, older, the same age, he was at the entrance of his school.
He thought 'Second year here I am, The dead star is back in the Academy of Stars'
Soon enough he was followed by 2 guys
One was a boy with sharp looks, wearing spectacles, anyone could've guessed he was good at studying, he was quite attractive for a nerd
The other one was also a boy, quite tall towering both Smile and the Nerd, he had quite a good build, pointing out that he was an athlete, a loud one as he screamed
"Smilee!!, how have you been"
Smile turned back looking at the happy face of the Athlete, and the Nerd was waving his hand
Smile smiled and replied, "Nice to see you again Jake and Quentin"
Though Smile looked like someone who was a loner and did not bother to talk to anyone.
He had these 2 classmates always with him as a part of his School life.
Smile was flooded with some thoughts 'My only friends, we've been in the same class for many years, maybe perhaps one of us would be in different class this time?'
He was quite sad thinking about that thought, and there were many times he was write when it comes to predicting.
The 3 of them talked to each other for a while,
And entered the campus to take a look at the classes they're in,
Smile found his name right below Quentin in class 2X, Jake's name written first on class 2Y.
(The grade system of jade starts from 10 and becomes low as a person reaches the next grade, each grade is divided into X, Y and Z)
Smile was sad as his thinking became true once more. Soon enough he turned towards Jake.
Jake stood their staring at his name, he was smiling, it looked quite painful, he was accepting reality.
Jake came to Quentin and Smile and hugged them as they waved their goodbyes and parted their ways.
Smile was still sad at the thought of being in different class of Jake, he was the core of their group being the most funniest.
Smile felt Quentin's pat on his shoulders, "Don't worry we'll be seeing him often in cafeteria and Sports class"
Smile agreed and let his sorrow vanish
So that he could start his new class with a new a new mind
Quentin and Smile entered the class they did not look at any members, and went over to the last row beside the window, Quentin sat at the last seat, while Smile sat one seat infront of Quentin.
Soon came in the class teacher,
He was quite a short guy, with almost bald head, he has a grumpy expression as something irritating happened to him before he came.
"Alright students, let's introduce ourselves one by one,
I am Kaden your class teacher"
Soon enough students one by one introduced themselves.
Smile didn't put much interest in them
But he did observe everyone.
He thought to himself, 'Some new personalities huh, it's gonna be interesting'
Soon his turn came, he didn't move he said while sitting, "I'm Smile, nice to know you all"
The whole class and the teacher was staring at him,
They all had different emotions which one could've guessed easily.
Soon enough Quentin also went over and finished his introduction.
The Teacher came front and announced the first test.
( Test meant different in the country of Jade, it was like an exam where students are given certain rules to follow and a task to accomplish and will be graded)
"Now let's pair you guys up with the opposite gender"
Suddenly hearing Smile started to cough as if he was at a death bed.
He apologized.
It was a valid reaction as Smile never even bothered to look at a girl
But now he had to co-operate with a girl
To complete the test,
He thought, 'Hopefully it won't end up like some romance Novel'
The pairings were done in random by the class teacher,
After assessing half of the class.
It was Quentin's turn
He was paired with a girl named Jane who also had sharp looks, she looked elegant even if she didn't look much active.
Smile thought, 'She's like the fusion of Quentin and I'
Just after Quentin
The teacher took Smile's name
He shook ready to accept his harsh fate....
