Synopsis
When darkness once again spreads across the Earth—so fierce that even the God, the Lord of the Universe Himself, must intervene—He descends for the eighth time to the earth, reincarnates as Krushn, to restore peace and harmony to a world drowning in chaos. But as He grows up among mortals, Krushn must hide His divine identity, living as a simple child while secretly protecting those pure of heart—those He loves as His own—from the monstrous demons sent by Kamsa, His mother's own brother. Kamsa, son of Ugrasena and a follower of man-eating demons, once held the reins of the chariot that carried the newlywed couple—Vasudev, noble son of King Surasena of the Yadu dynasty, and Devaki, daughter of King Devaka and sister of Kamsa himself. While Kamsa accompanies the couple to their home During their joyous journey, a thundering voice split the skies: “O foolish Kamsa! The eighth child of the woman you now accompany shall be your doom.” And you already know who that eighth child is destined to be

Chapter 1 - Chapter 0ne: The Causes; The Birth

Meanwhile, on the earth:

Once upon a time, Surasena, the King of the Yadu dynasty, residing in Mathura Puri (Where our MC will later be born), was happily ruling the kingdom. Later, this same Mathura Puri became the capital of all the kings of the Yadu dynasty. Vasudev (the son of the greatest of the Yadu dynasty: Surasena), after being married, mounts his chariot along with his newlywed wife Devaki and starts on a journey to his home. Kamsa, the son of Ugrasena, brother of Devaki, is holding the reins of the chariot's horses. This same chariot is surrounded by hundreds of other chariots fully covered in gold. King Devaka, the father of Devaki, gifted her four hundred elephants, 15000 horses, 1800 chariots, and 200 beautiful maids fully decorated with ornaments as dowry. Damn, this guy is filthy rich! And that's more of a show off than a gift out of love!! As the journey started, there vibrated the sounds of beating drums, kettledrums, etc., apart from echoing sounds of conch shells, bugles, all of them together.

While Kamsa is controlling the reins of the horses of the chariot, a voice from the sky addresses and says to Kamsa, "Hey, you unintelligent one! The eighth child of the one that you now are carrying on the chariot shall kill you."

Kamsa being the very cruel sinner he is, as soon as hearing those words, catches hold of his sister's hair and circles them round his hand, draws his sword, with the intention to kill her, when Vasudev interrupts, and says "You are the one praised by all the great persons for you good qualities and are the pride of the Bhoja dynasty. Being of that personality, how come it is appropriate to axe and kill a woman, especially your sister, that too particularly on the occasion of the celebration of her marriage?!" Despite being advised by Vasudev several times, Kamsa, the follower of the evil man eating demons, doesn't withdraw himself. Having understood the firm determination of Kamsa, in order to stop the imminent danger, Vasudev says, "You shall have nothing from Devaki, as I shall deliver unto you all her progenies, from whom you fear, fear that they be the reason for your death." Only on hearing these words, Kamsa withdrew, and Vasudev and Devaki reached home safely

Later, in due course of time, Devaki became pregnant. Even later, Vasudev handed over to Kamsa the first born child named Kirtiman. Kamsa, having become happy and satisfied, said laughingly to Vasudev: "Let this child be back with you; I have no fear from this child, because only through the eighth progeny my death has been destined." Vasudev replied, "Let it be so" , and returned from there along with his son. Narada Muni (Muni meaning Wise ascetic; He is a messenger, storyteller, and sometimes a mischievous provocateur — often creating situations that ultimately lead to divine outcomes), after this confrontation of Vasudev with Kamsa, came to Kamsa and explained to him, "Narayana! Narayana! Kamsa Maharaj! starting with Nandagopa, all his associates known as Gopas and also their respective wives in the Vrindavana; those belonging to Vrishni family such as Vasudev, Yadava women like Devaki, and other distant relatives of both Nandagopa and Vasudev; also their own relatives and friends; and those who follow the orders of Kamsa, all and all of them generally possess the powers of Demigods. All of them are planning to eliminate all the demons who are responsible for adding up to the burden of the Earth. Narayana! Narayana!" *disappears*

UUh yeah! Narada Muni is doing his thing again! Devrarshi Narada - meaning divine sage Narada- is the divine messenger, storyteller, and most importantly, the cosmic trickster whose apparent mischief always leads to greater good. Though he sometimes provokes quarrels of 'tests', Gods, Demons, and Humans through his words, his intentions are never evil. Instead, his actions serve as the will of the divine. guiding events toward moral or spiritual lessons. Narada's easing of timely interference often triggers events that reveal truth or destroy arrogance. His "mischief " is hence seen as divine play(Leela)- a way to keep the balance of the universe and ensure that righteousness ultimately prevails. Spoiler alert!: We are going to encounter a lot of these Leelas (but of our main character) later in the story!

The most powerful Kamsa had started giving troubles to the Yadavas, taking help of Jarashndha, the king of Magadha. As he thought that Yadavas, being demigods, might play an instrumental role in his killing of him. After having killed all six children of Devaki by Kamsa, there appeared in Devaki's womb the seventh one, widely known as Adi Sesha, The Eternal Serpent. Another one of Vasudev's wives, Rohini, was living at the house of Nandagopa, the chief of the Gopas. With the help of The Lord's Yogamaya, the reincarnation of The Eternal Serpent, born as Balaram, the fetus in the womb of Devaki, was transplanted in the womb of Rohini, thus saving the life of the fetus, and to Rohini was born Balaram. For the purpose of troubling the Yadavas, he took in his company Pralamba, Bhaka,Chanura, Trinavarta, Mahasana, etc., and also Mushtika, Arishta, Dwida, Putana, Kesi, Denuka, etc., apart from other demon kings like Bana and Naraka.

And then, again after some time, Devaki conceived, and that Devaki became the one single focus point of containing within herself the very source of all the universe; she was bearing in her pregnancy none other than Shri Maha Vishnu Himself. Kamsa thought, "What am I supposed to do right now urgently on that? However much it may suit me to think selfishly like this, and it may also immensely benefit me, but one should never put at stake and destroy one's own valor under any circumstances. Killing Devaki now, being a woman, especially my own sister, and more so now pregnant, shall not only diminish but also destroy immediately my own fame, my own prosperities, and also the duration of my life." Having thought in this manner, he withdrew himself from the killing of the pregnant Devaki. However, due to his constant fear of Shri Hari, he bided his time waiting for His manifestation to appear. As Kamsa sat, laid down, stood up, had food, went around the Earth, and at all times remembered the entire world immersed into Krushn. Ultimately, the time arrived endowed with the signs of all the Prosperities. All the directions have become very clear and sober. All the rivers are flowing crystal clear, the air has become pure mixed with fragrance, and when He is about to manifest, one can hear the huge drums beat somewhere in the outer sky. At that time, Kinnaras and Gandharvas sang songs; the Vidhya Dhara, Womenfolk, along with the Apsaras, also danced around. The saints, the sages, and the demiGods overwhelmed with happiness, showered the fragrant and beautiful flowers. Just like the full moon rises with all its art and form, so manifested Krushn in the divine personality of Devaki. Vasudev saw that wonderful boy with lotus-like eyes, four beautiful limbs, having the Shrivatsam Crest on his chest.
