Everyone returns home.
At night, everyone sits together in the living room.
Rafaella: "What kind of couple are you two?"
Gabriel: "What do you mean… what kind of?"
Rafaella holds William's hand and says,
Rafaella: "Look at us—we came home after you two."
Rafaella and William kiss.
William: "I just love my wife too much. I can't stay away from her for even a moment."
Meridia: "I'm sorry, Mom—Dad… actually, I was tired."
Gabriel moves forward to kiss Meridia, but she suddenly stands up, and his kiss lands in the air.
Meridia: "I'm going to sleep."
While leaving, Meridia kicks Gabriel's foot.
Gabriel: "Ouch!"
Meridia: "Sorry, I didn't see."
Rafaella: "Oh, you fool… go after her! She's giving you a signal."
William and Rafaella start laughing.
Next Morning
Meridia wakes up early and goes to Rafaella's room.
Rafaella: "Oh, you came! I wanted to show you something."
Meridia: "Actually… I came to say sorry."
Rafaella: "Sorry? For what?"
Meridia: "Last night… I couldn't talk properly to everyone."
Rafaella: "Oh, that's nothing. Don't worry about it."
Meridia smiles.
Rafaella takes out a pair of heels from her cupboard and hands them to her.
Meridia: "Wow…"
Rafaella: "Pretty, right?"
Meridia: "Yes, absolutely."
Rafaella: "I bought these for you."
Meridia: "No, no… I can't take this. It's so expensive."
Rafaella: "Expensive or cheap doesn't matter. Gifts given with love always count as high value."
Meridia: "Thank you…"
Just then, the maid enters.
Maid: "Breakfast is ready."
Rafaella: "Okay. Call Gabriel, William, and Luca. We'll be there."
Meridia: "Luca?"
Rafaella: "Yes, today Luca will have breakfast with all of you."
Meridia: "'All of you'… what do you mean?"
Rafaella picks up her car keys.
Rafaella: "Me and William—we're going out on a date. Goodbye! Eat well, kids. Healthy eating makes you strong."
Rafaella and William leave.
Luca enters.
Meridia: "Hi Luca… long time no see."
Luca: "Hey, how are you? Yeah, I've been really busy lately."
Gabriel comes downstairs.
Gabriel: "Come on, let's have breakfast together."
Meridia: "Yes, come on. The food is ready."
Luca: "By the way, that outfit design I asked for—what happened to it?"
Gabriel: "Nothing… I just rejected it."
Luca: "Okay… so what's the plan next?"
Gabriel: "Here, Meridia, take some white sauce pasta."
Meridia: "No, I want lasagna."
Luca: "Here you go."
Gabriel: "Wow… nothing simple for breakfast today."
Luca: "Yeah, I was thinking the same."
Both Gabriel and Luca stare at Meridia.
Meridia laughs softly.
Meridia: "What? I like eating this kind of food in the morning too, that's why."
Luca: "Alright then… pray for me."
Gabriel: "Why? What's the hurry to go to hell?"
Meridia: "Why would he go to hell?"
Luca: "I just hope I don't get gas, that's all."
Meridia and Gabriel laugh.
Luca: "Poor animals… I wonder what they even eat. Their life must be terrible."
Gabriel: "True… that's right."
Luca: "Fictional creatures must eat good food though."
Gabriel: "There are fictional animals?"
Luca: "No, I mean like angels."
Meridia: "Angels aren't fictional."
Gabriel: "Yeah, Meridia's right."
Luca: "Okay then… mermaids."
Meridia: "Mermaids aren't fictional either."
Gabriel: "She's a kid… maybe she doesn't know."
Luca: "Well I heard mermaids eat tiny fishes and are really dangerous in real life."
Meridia gets angry.
Meridia: "Not all mermaids eat tiny fish! They eat deep–ocean plants. And not all mermaids are dangerous!"
She gets up angrily and walks to her room.
Luca: "What happened to her?"
Gabriel: "She said she lost her memory in a car accident… maybe that's why."
