Gabriel Guevara:
"Meridia, wake up! How long have you been sleeping? Everyone is already ready, and you're still asleep. Mom will get upset if you don't come."
William:
"Is Meridia ready?"
Rafaella:
"Yes, she should be coming any moment."
William calls Gabriel.
William:
"How much longer? We need to leave."
Gabriel:
"Just a bit more, Meridia is still doing her makeup."
Rafaella takes the phone from William's hand.
William:
"Hey, wait!"
Rafaella:
"Hello? Bring Meridia carefully. I don't want her to get even a tiny scratch. I've already sent the hairstylist and the makeup artist upstairs."
Suddenly, Meridia opens her eyes and takes the phone from Gabriel's hand.
Meridia:
"Hey Mom, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. I'm ready—I'll be there in just 10 minutes."
Gabriel hangs up the phone.
Meridia pushes Gabriel aside and runs toward the bathroom.
Gabriel Guevara:
"You're getting ready here while we're all waiting for you downstairs!"
Meridia steps out of the shower and opens the door. She sees a hairstylist holding a straightener and dryer, and a makeup artist holding a makeup kit. She gives them both a small smile and says:
Meridia:
"I don't need you."
Then she closes the door.
Meanwhile, downstairs, William, Rafaella, and Gabriel are waiting.
William:
"Let's go wait outside near the car. She must be coming soon."
Rafaella:
"Yes, let's go."
William:
"You come too, Gabriel."
Gabriel:
"Yes."
The wait was finally over—Meridia had arrived.
Gabriel couldn't take his eyes off her. His gaze wouldn't leave her for even a second; at that moment, he couldn't see anything or anyone except Meridia.
Rafaella and William, both at the same time, said,
"I'm proud of her."
Meridia was wearing the dress William had given her—a purple, shiny fabric dress with delicate butterflies on it. Seeing those butterflies, Gabriel felt butterflies in his own stomach. And the beautiful sleeves on Meridia's dress completely stole Rafaella's heart.
Meridia:
"Come on, come on—we're already late. Sorry, it's because of me."
Rafaella:
"It doesn't matter if you're late. When we see you, it always feels worth the wait."
William:
"You look lovely, dear."
Rafaella:
"Forgive him, Meridia. Our son gets jealous, that's why he never compliments you."
Gabriel:
"Excuse me, Mom—Meridia, you actually look really beautiful today."
William:
"Alright, let's all go now."
William and Rafaella got into the first car—the one leading in the front.
Gabriel and Meridia got into the second car—the one following behind.
And then, suddenly, Gabriel's car stopped and the engine died.
Meridia:
"What happened?"
Gabriel:
"I think the engine broke down."
Meridia:
"Suddenly?"
Gabriel:
"Yes, suddenly." (annoyed)
Meridia:
"Oh…"
Gabriel:
"We're already late, and now look what's happened."
Meridia:
"I'm sorry… everything is my fault.
Whatever you tell me to do, I'll do it—promise.
Just forgive me.".
Gabriel:
"Oh really? You'll do whatever I say?
Are you sure?"
Meridia: yeah sure
Gabriel approaches Meridia and says, Gabriel: Okay, then take off your clothes and have sex with me.
Meridia: what?
Gabriel: yes you're my girlfriend I can do with you whatever I want .
Meridia looked at Gabriel, and for two minutes, there was complete silence.

"What happened? Why aren't you doing it?
Got scared?"
Meridia:
"Shut up… I'll tell Mom."
(Gabriel suddenly shouts)
Gabriel:
"APRIL FOOL!"
Hearing that, Meridia felt relieved. All her tension disappeared.
Gabriel:
"Did you forget? Today is the 1st of April."
Meridia:
"Yeah… maybe."
Gabriel:
"Well, my mom really wants this, you know. Didn't you see how she was already shopping for our baby that day?"
Gabriel and Meridia both laugh.
Just then, William calls.
William:
"Where are you two?"
Gabriel:
"We're almost there."
William:
"Alright listen—be careful and come through the farm. There's been a fire here. And meet us for dinner."

"What? There was a fire? Is everything okay? How did this happen?"
William:
"Thank God no one was hurt. We don't know the reason yet. Just come carefully."
Gabriel:
"Okay."
Gabriel cuts the call and puts the phone down.
The car suddenly started again.
Meridia:
"Thank God… finally it's working."
Both of them reached the farm, met everyone, and after having a good dinner together, they returned to their mansion.
