Mark suddenly stood up from his seat, his expression tense. "Mother, Father… I'll just head to the bathroom for a moment," he said quickly, forcing a polite smile.

Leo's family exchanged puzzled looks but didn't think much of it—until Jonny and John moved at the same time, stepping in front of the door and blocking his path.

"What are you doing?" Mark demanded, his voice sharp with confusion—and fear. A drop of sweat slid down his temple. No… they couldn't have found out… could they?

"Heh," John said with a smirk. "Where do you think you're going?"

"Yeah, what's the rush, Mark? And why are you sweating?" Jonny added, his tone taunting.

Damn it… I'm exposed, Mark thought, panic starting to settle in.

The rest of the Frost family looked around in confusion, unsure of what was happening. Then Alex took a deep breath and spoke clearly, his eyes locked on Mark.

"Mark killed Leo. He's the one who caused it."

The words struck like lightning.

"What?" Jane gasped, her voice trembling. "He… killed his youngest brother?"

Even Elena couldn't believe it. "That can't be true…" she whispered.

"Lies! All of it!" Mark shouted, slamming his hands on the table. "They're making this up! I'm his brother—why would I ever do that?"

France Frost, the eldest, slowly rose to his feet. His usual calm eyes were now cold and sharp. "So that's how it is…" he said quietly, his voice laced with anger.

Mark's breathing quickened. Sweat ran down his face as he stammered, "Y-You don't have any evidence!"

"Oh? Evidence, you say?" Kai said, standing up with a confident smirk. "I do have evidence."

He turned toward the door. "Come in."

The door opened. A man stepped into the room—his face grim, his expression cold.

Mark's eyes widened in horror. His body stiffened, fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white.

"No… it can't be…" he whispered, his voice trembling.

"You—what are you doing here?" Mark spat, eyes darting between the man in the doorway and the group.

The man's voice was flat, steady. "I was with Mark when he did it. We were the ones piloting the plane when they jumped."

The words landed like a blow. Mark's face went white. No—this couldn't be happening. The plan was perfect. He looked around wildly, and then, as if searching for someone to blame, his gaze locked on the four friends at the table. "This is all your fault!" he barked. "If not for the four of you—"

He turned back to the co-pilot, rage cracking his voice. "You—you're a traitor. I'll kill all of you!" He fumbled in his pocket as his voice rose.

"Drop it!" Marcus—his father—snapped, already aiming a handgun at his son the moment he reached for something. Mark froze, eyes wide with panic. "Move and I shoot," Marcus said through gritted teeth. The room fell so quiet you could hear the click of the safety being undone.

Mark's face crumpled as he looked into his father's eyes—eyes full of disappointment and cold fury. France rose then, voice low and terrible. "What have you done, Mark? What have you done, you mongrel? You killed your own brother."

Jane covered her mouth, unable to believe the son she raised could do such a thing. Elena stared as if the world had shifted beneath her feet. The word "scum" seemed to hang in the air—an accusation heavier than any evidence.

Mark slumped back into his chair and laughed—a ragged, hollow sound. "Ha…ha… I—I just wanted attention," he sobbed, then barked out a broken laugh. "Why always him? Why not me? Why always Leo?" Tears ran down his face as he kept laughing and crying at once, the act of confession and collapse fused into one.

Kai stepped forward slowly, voice steady and cold. "Wherever you are, Leo—justice is served." The conviction in his words steadied the room like a hammer striking steel.

Mark's shoulders shook. He looked every bit the cowardly mess he'd become.
