Chapter 141 - Chapter 141 Power Armor

Peter opened his mouth, but ultimately didn't refuse. He said gratefully, "Mr. Stark, thank you."

Tony waved his hand, signaling Peter to hurry up and leave. After Peter left, he sighed, "New York City should be thanking you."

Tony shook his head and got up, walking towards the lab. He thought, full of fighting spirit, "Andrew Wang, rest in peace. I will inherit your will and protect New York."

Outside the Osborn building, Andrew touched his nose. Which scoundrel was so bold as to even curse the Devil King?

"I never thought the Osborn Group would have such a day. Back then, when I received a job offer from the Osborn Group, I was so excited I couldn't sleep all night."

Gwen, holding a cardboard box, looked at the FBI and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents investigating the Osborn Group and couldn't help but exclaim.

"If I remember correctly, in the past few months, your total working hours haven't even reached ten days, right?"

Andrew complained. If it weren't for his connections, Gwen would have been fired long ago.

Gwen glared at Andrew, saying, "Why are you stating such obvious facts? Let's go."

"Let's go."

Andrew looked back at the Osborn Group building, a slight smile on his face. Soon, he would dismantle and sell the Osborn Group, while quietly transferring away the things he needed.

...

More than a month passed in a flash, and New York's sorrow and anger gradually dissipated.

This afternoon, Andrew sat in a cafe opposite a museum in New York, eating cake while browsing the news on his phone.

"Rebirth Group gains control of Osborn Group. According to internal sources, the Osborn Group will be dismantled and sold, which has greatly pleased the public."

"Four large green Giant Turtles have been frequently spotted in the city. Some people dislike them and demand the police arrest them, while others like them and provide them with free pizza."

"At the Mayor's request, the military has dispatched War Machine and ten power Armors to New York. The Mayor stated that what happened a month ago will never happen again."

"Opera singer Mary Jane's singing voice is so soft that it's completely inaudible to the audience. She is utterly unqualified to sing on Broadway."

...

Seeing the last piece of news, Andrew couldn't help but laugh. This news was published by Jameson, the editor-in-chief of The Daily Bugle. The old man was clearly using his position for personal revenge.

More than half a month ago, Mary Jane ran away from her wedding, not only causing Jameson to lose face but also causing his son immense pain. The only silver lining was that the caviar hadn't been opened yet, saving them a lot of loss.

Jameson hated Mary Jane to the bone because of this and often cursed her in the newspaper.

"Mary Jane should be fired soon. I wonder if Venom and Spider-Man will show up?"

Andrew was lost in thought when his phone suddenly rang. He answered it and immediately said, "Don't speak yet, let me guess. You can't make it again, right?"

"Andrew, I'm really sorry, I truly have an emergency. I'll make it up to you next time."

With that, Gwen hung up the phone. Then, she changed into her Spider-Woman uniform and went to meet up with the Ninja Turtles—they had discovered Shredder's whereabouts.

After the last incident, both the police and the Super Heroes were very displeased with Kingpin and the Foot Clan for stirring up trouble. During this time, Gwen and her allies had been cracking down on Kingpin and the Foot Clan, which is how they became acquainted with the four Giant Turtles.

"How many times have I been stood up now?"

Andrew shook his head, not particularly bothered. The red-haired beauty at the next table, seeing how gentle he was, couldn't help but feel a little envious.

"So handsome and gentle. Why are all the good boyfriends someone else's? Uh, April, wake up, you don't even have a boyfriend."

April O'Neil sighed. Both her career and her love life were not going well.

April was a reporter for Channel 6. Her dream was to become a major news reporter like Roxanne, but unfortunately, reality was cruel. She could only interview lifestyle news now, such as special fitness methods, or how grandmas save money shopping at supermarkets.

Andrew had long noticed April's presence, as she looked like the female lead from Transformers, but he didn't do anything else.

Meanwhile, Gwen, Jessica, Colleen, and the four Giant Turtles met in an abandoned warehouse. Gwen eagerly asked, "Where is Shredder?"

Donatello, the inventor among the Ninja Turtles, wearing a purple eye mask, said, "I put a bug on a Foot Clan ninja. I overheard that Shredder is planning to take people to the museum to steal something."

"Shredder personally stealing something? And in broad daylight? That sounds problematic, doesn't it?"

Gwen frowned slightly upon hearing this. Shredder was the leader of the Foot Clan; how could he personally commit robbery? Were the hundreds of Foot Clan ninjas just freeloading?

"That item is said to be very important, and Shredder is determined to get it. They've already set off."

Raphael, wearing a red bandana and known for his fiery temper, said, "We should hurry too, or we'll miss them."

"Alright, tell me on the way."

Gwen nodded. Then, the three women and four turtles got into a truck and sped towards the museum. It's worth noting that Jessica was driving; a turtle driving would scare people to death.

"It's this museum, of all places?"

Gwen was surprised when she heard the destination. Leonardo, the leader of the Ninja Turtles, wearing a blue eye mask, asked, "Spider-Woman, is there a problem?"

Gwen gave a wry smile: "I was originally planning to visit that museum with my boyfriend."

Jessica complained, "Your boyfriend hasn't dumped you yet? How many times have you stood him up?"

Gwen said with a troubled expression, "If I keep doing it, it'll probably be soon."

Donatello reminded, "I think you should call your boyfriend right away and tell him to leave the museum. It's going to become a battlefield very soon, and he might get hurt."

"He gets hurt?"

Gwen and Jessica laughed simultaneously. Gwen said, "You'd better worry about those Foot Clan guys. Oh, right, when the fight starts, if you see a very handsome man carrying an umbrella, remember not to provoke him."

The four Giant Turtles looked at each other, puzzled. Jessica thought of something and said to Gwen, "Spider-Woman, how about your boyfriend gives me another one? It felt so good last time, I still can't forget it. I get excited just thinking about it."

The four Giant Turtles' small green eyes widened. Female Super Heroes are this open-minded?

"No way."

Gwen flatly refused. Then, she took out her phone and called Chief George, saying, "Chief, we received news..."

"Okay, you must catch Shredder. I will send police to blockade the surrounding intersections and disperse the public."

Chief George nodded. Unlike the 'great philanthropist' Kingpin, Shredder could be directly arrested, and the public detested the Foot Clan.

Just as Chief George was arranging for police support, the Mayor personally called, requesting military involvement in the arrest.

Chief George objected, "Shredder is a gang leader. Arresting him is our police duty, it has nothing to do with the military."

"As far as I know, there are many ninjas and enhanced individuals in the Foot Clan, and the police may not be able to handle them."

The Mayor said firmly, "Chief George, no more discussion. Colonel Rhodes will lead a military squad to join the arrest."

Chief George had no choice but to agree.

"The Mayor is doing it for his approval ratings."

After Chief George hung up the phone, his secretary explained, "Cooperation with the military was strongly pushed by the Mayor. If the military can capture the notorious Foot Clan leader Shredder, his approval ratings will significantly increase."

"Dirty politics."

Chief George cursed, "The military is only reliable when they want money; otherwise, they're never dependable. This time, something might go wrong."

The secretary said seriously, "Chief, you're wrong. They're also very reliable when performing fancy plane crashes."

Everyone burst into laughter, including Chief George. After a moment, he clapped his hands and said, "Alright, connect to the military channel. No matter what, we can't let Shredder escape this time."

At the military base, Rhodes said to the strong black man, Heavy Cannon, "This is your special forces' first operation in New York. You must perform well."

"Just a gang leader, not worth mentioning. The New York Police Department is too useless; they haven't been able to catch him for so long."

Heavy Cannon was disdainful. The special forces were the military's ace team, very powerful. The military had specifically transferred them to New York to salvage their reputation.

"Don't underestimate the New York police, rookie. New York has all kinds of monsters."

Rhodes shook his head. The special forces personnel didn't take it seriously. Redhead Scarlett shouted, "Equip the exoskeleton power Armors! Let these New Yorkers see what real warriors are like."

Redhead Scarlett was not only beautiful and had an outstanding physique, but she was also a Super Hero genius who graduated from college at 12. Additionally, she was proficient in various combat techniques, making her both intelligent and skilled in battle.

"I hope not too many New York beauties fall in love with me; that would be very difficult."

The soldiers laughed, then all equipped their black power Armors.

The power Armors were exoskeleton Armors that allowed them to run as fast as motorcycles and even lift cars. Moreover, they had a big advantage: they were cheap—only one million dollars each.

Although one million dollars was not low, compared to the Iron Man Suit, which cost hundreds of millions, it was definitely super cheap.

At the cafe, although Gwen had stood him up, Andrew didn't leave. He was still eating cake for a simple reason: he had discovered dozens of orcs ambushed in the buildings around the museum.

"Orcs invading New York? New York is really busy."

Andrew complained. He pulled out a teapot from under the table, ready to watch the show. April, beside him, watched dumbfounded. "Where did you pull such a large teapot from? And why are you drinking tea in a coffee shop?"

Not long after, several SUVs drove up to the museum entrance. Then, an armored person led a group of ninjas out of the vehicles.

Seeing this group of people, the pedestrians' expressions changed, and they quickly moved away. One must know that the disaster caused by The Hand ninjas had not completely subsided even now.

"Robbing a museum in broad daylight? Anyone would know there's something wrong with that, right?"

Andrew shook his head. Of course, even if they knew something was wrong, those Super Heroes would still fall for it. Super Heroes are notoriously reckless.

The armored person was about to lead the ninjas into the museum when, at that moment, War Machine flew out from the museum rooftop. Then, he aimed the machine gun on his back at the armored person and loudly shouted, "Shredder, you're under arrest!"

As Rhodes appeared, ten power Armors ran from the surrounding streets, completely surrounding the Foot Clan members.
