I stood like a solder slapped so hard with the realization of the truth my dad had just told me.
His gaze unwavering, locked on my face searching for that once obedient daughter who would follow all his command.
The study was eery quiet, all the books on the shelves in place, except for the one my dad was reading on his desk before he called me in, only our heart beats could be heard, our gaze locked, no one willing to back down first, this was my father and yet, what he just said made him seem like a stranger to me, he stood with an imposing figure, intimidating others.
"No..no dad!, I can't do this", I snapped first, I said so angry and devastated, why does he always have to bring this topic on and what does he mean by someone is stealing the company's information.

I waited as he studied my face for a long time before firmly saying,
"24 hours, you only have 24 hours", gritting his teeth, his face expressionless could of any emotions, he turned his gaze to his book on the table, he grabbed it and put it back on the shelve where it belonged
I sighed in relief as he walked passed me, each step he took felt like a second, as if slowly counting the time I had left.
Immediately he left the room the temperature rose back, he has the ability to drop down the temperature when he is really serious, with his icy expression.
my voice hitched as I muttered a thank God, I don't know why my knees feel so weak from standing and I instantly collapsed on the ground, I stared in space with a calculative glance, 24 hours right,I sighed.
I had to find the strength to stand up and then get dressed, before heading out to the Luke's family, to meet my boyfriend.
He had said earlier this morning that he came back from his trip last night, the mere thought of him made a smile dance at the corners of my lips, who would've thought I would find love.
After seating like this for half an hour I finally found the strength to get up and headed to my room.
Moments later I stepped out of my car in front of my boyfriend's house he stays away from his family house.

"Did you inform the young master of this visit", he asked in a curious gaze.
"No, but I am his girlfriend, can't I come see him anytime I want", I asked with a little bit of confidence, but I knew the next thing they were going to say and I couldn't afford to lose so much time, I will just have to get in, anyway I can.
" You know the rules miss, no one goes in without informing the young master", he said his gaze intimidating.
Oh God what am I going to do now, I guess I will have to distract them or call him, but his number isn't going.
Just as I was about to bicker with him some more, before they really kick me out, I heard some noice from come from inside.
"What's going on inside", I asked as they both turned to looked towards the door I took advantage of this distraction and bolted inside, I had to know what is going on, and isn't that a woman's voice I hear, from what I knew no one stays here except joesph, no females at all even his cook is a male, what could be going on.
"Of course you are baby", I heard that familiar voice, no it can't be.
There on the couch lay Joseph and some one else cuddled up, almost half naked, kissing endlessly.
I gasped so loud that they both turned to face me, shock written like stretch marks on their faces.
"How did you get in here", Joseph asked with a hint of fear.
A tear slipped down my face, how could he do this to me, I looked from him to the woman on his laps before recognizing who she was, what!!! isn't that bella m...y best friend.
"BELLA!!", I exclaimed in disbelief.
His guards ran in after me like a swarm of bees.
" Boss we are so sorry", they said bowing sweat dripping from their faces in fear.
"How could you do this to me joesph, what did I ever do wrong to you??", I asked now in a full blown cry as tears raced down my face.
"And you bella, I pointed at her you of all people, why??", I asked in rage.
"Because we are in love, we have always been for the past 3 years", she said confidently, hands on her waist, looking at me disgustingly.
"What, my eyes widened in disbelief, you guys..", I said in a shaky voice.
"Oh yes and guess what, we would be getting married soon, how do you feel wealthy heiress, boasting and walking with pride, thinking she owns everything, oh I have always waited for this moment, the look on your face is so priceless", she said laughing like a maniac.
"How dare you!!, So all this time you have been pretending to be my friend, and you I pointed at Joseph, you cheated on me with my own best friend", I yelled.
My emotions were in a mess.
He just looked at me indifferently with no hint of regret on his face, and instead he drew bella closer to him.
The pain I felt was.. I couldn't describe it, I walked in rage towards them and his bodyguards tried to stop me, but I was didn't let them, I slapped Joseph with all the strength I had, and fled the scene, I went into my car crying painfully as I drove out with so much speed I couldn't concentrate, I couldn't think, I just wanted to end it but I couldn't do it, how could he treat me like this for 6 years we have been in a relationship and this.., he cheated on me with my best friend.
I kept on thinking.
I didn't know where I was headed, all I knew was that I wanted to get away from all this.
"Arghhhh", I slammed my hands on the wheel so hard, forgetting that I was driving, I lost focus and before I could realize my car hit an incoming truck, and the impact sent my car backwards crashing into an incoming car, at that moment I knew I had lost, my life flashed before my eyes.
