When Webster saw my expression ease up, he let out a relieved breath and slipped through the doorway.
He placed the flowers and fruit on the table, opening his mouth like he wanted to say something, but my icy stare made him freeze. "How are you holding up? Feeling any better?" he managed instead.
I had zero interest in pointless chatter. "What do you need?" I asked directly.
Before, Webster would've blown up at my tone.
But recently, something had shifted. He seemed on edge around me, his whole demeanor softening to how things used to be before Jill returned to the Noah Family.
Since he knew I hated wasting time, he cut straight to it. "Grandpa's funeral is tomorrow. Dad told me to let you know you need to be there.
"Kevin's worried about all the reporters camping outside the villa tomorrow, so he wants you to leave with the rest of the Noah Family."
