Sallie's POV
Levi Jill's words hit the already wild paparazzi like fuel on fire, sending them into a complete frenzy.
"Is Mr. Noah running from our questions now?"
"You dodging us because we struck a nerve?"
"Mr. Noah, give us straight answers right now!"
They shoved past anyone in their path, charging forward like animals. Being small, I couldn't hold back so many men with heavy cameras, no matter how hard I fought.
They barreled ahead without a care, and someone's foot caught mine, sending me stumbling backward, completely off balance.
"Sallie." Levi's voice cracked with panic as he saw what happened, and he stretched out his arm to steady me.
That's when Jill, who'd been supporting him, spotted her opening.
Evil flickered in her eyes. "Old bastard, go to hell." She seized Levi's hand, shoved him forward, then screamed, "Grandpa, be careful."
