This is the worst case scenario, that I had never expected to happen, my mom was standing a few feats away from us and was waving her hands at me, just as we got out of the restaurant just now, normally it would have taken her some keen sight to be able to find me out, but it was a lot easier for her thanks to the fact that I was surrounded by the 3 girls .
This kind of situation had me completely confused and unable to think clearly about what to do now, but soon I found the closest thing to a solution, I apologized for my mother in my heart and turned my head and my back to her, then tried to play it off .
But due to how unnatural my movements seemed like and the fact that all the girls now in front of me all having quite the keen senses, my actions didn't go past easily by them, as I hoped it could .
The first to point out that someone was calling for me was Sophia, she didn't just pointed that put, but she also pointed with her hands towards where the voice of my mother just now sounded from .
Then her words were followed by the two girls asking me to tell them what was going on and why was she calling me with such affection, what was my relationship with her as well, seeing their non-stop questioning of me, I decided that dealing with my mother was more easier than this, how wrong was I .
" Mom, I'm coming .
I said this and directly hooped towards where my mother and the Suguha-san were, then I greeted my mother with a hug and nodded my head at Suguha .
It is very good to see you doing good, what were you up to by appearing here, don't you have a school to attend to, are you skipping school ? .
She was very pleased with the hug, then her face turned stern and she began to scold me relentlessly thinking that I was skipping school, I told here that I had already finished school duties and I also finished my training sessions for today and was now here trying to have some fun, she hearing my reasoning understood that she had misunderstood my intentions and apologized for that .
Telling her not to worry much about it, it was my turn in wondering what were they doing out here, once I asked that question, my mother's face lit up brilliantly and she said with quite enthusiasm in her voice :
You might have not been noted by the principal, but Suguha-san will be attending the same school from the next week, so we were here trying to buy all the requirements she needed to b set, it was also a good chance to get more acquainted with the town and its people, so we finished early and directly began taking stroll around and we happened to bump into you, what a good coincidence, here hold these packages .
Without even waiting for me to respond, she directly through some packaged bags at me and told me to hold them, one second I was empty handed, the next second, my vision was obstructed by the packages I was currently holding, I was not holding only the things that my Mom was holding .
I was also given the packages in Suguha's hands, my vision was completely obstructed now, that I might end up bumping into a pole or something and I not be able to sense it in the way, I had so much grievances, but I know better than to state them out, so I just accepted the role that was thrown at me silently and thought that I will just keep diverting her attention like this and I should be safe .
I asked them about what were they going to do now, my mother said that they were on the way home after finishing all of they needed to do and asked me to stay for an early dinner, I couldn't help but think of how I might be able to do that, should I use that as an excuse to get away from them .
Just as I was thinking like that, I noticed from the corner of my eyes, the back of someone passing by me and saw a strands of blonde hair and that was enough for me to understand that I was going to have a big trouble .
And true enough, after a few seconds passed, I heard the voice of the airheaded Sophia introducing herself to my mom, but that wasn't so bad, after all my mom sooner or later should have recognized that we all four were together .
I had already prepared answers for that, what almost made me broke into sweat, was the fact that the girl didn't introduce herself as being my colleague, teammate or anything like that, she introduced herself to my mom as my girlfriend .
If that wasn't shocking enough, I saw that Tokiko feeling left behind suddenly with a swoosh, appeared in a similar way to Sophia in front of my mom and introduced herself as well as my girlfriend .
I almost dropped the packages I was carrying and went back running to school, the scene fell into awkward silent, other than the glaring stares that the two were giving to one another, the whole scene fell awkwardly still .
That stillness didn't continue for long, before another person went and introduced themselves, I was already too engrossed in my own thoughts to care about anything that was happening, but I still heard Momochi timid and polite voice that she used to introduce herself with .
As if not enough bombs had already dropped on me, as Momochi was introducing herself as my teammate and a friend, she got cut off midway her talking by the rude voice of Sophia and the blonde actually took it upon herself to introduce her as my girlfriend as well .
The girl seemed to be quite keen in continuing to lead the conversation and without a stop, she wished my mom a speed recovery and Tokiko followed suit, seemed to be trying to catch up with whatever that girl was doing and wished my mother a speed recovery as well .
Leaving the other 4 people completely stunned and probably oblivious to whatever that was going on here, but luckily even a girl like Sophia was able to tell that the scene was quite weird and she stopped trying to say anything else, Tokiko not lagging behind anymore did the same .
The scene finally fell into silent, I never would have imagined myself feeling so good about silence, but I now more than happy with it, no one seemed to be willing to be the one to broke the, most of us were stunned and those who weren't, didn't know what exactly could they say .
After I began to fell in love with this silence more and more, the first person to break the silence was surprisingly none other than Haruka, she was frustratingly denying what Sophia said just now, her tone seemed to carry quite the nervousness, the girl was once again introducing herself as my friend and teammate, but she added one more line, that line was me being good to her .
Hearing her say this filled me with warm feeling that soon dissipated like a smoke, it was good to hear taking the initiative and correcting the confusion like this, I was somewhat really proud of her for that, but at this point of time, there was no more need for talking about fixing the confusion here, the reason was quite simple, my mother was already on the verge of passing out from the shock, just as Haruka tried to fix things her up .
My mom suddenly passed out made me return to reality from my detached state, I hurriedly let go of the packages in hand and went to support her, I directly used Healing Reverse on her, feeling quite guilty and alarmed, but even after I did so, she was still showing no sign of waking up, which put me at ease a little, she was faking it all along .
She was faking her sudden loss of consciousness, I was able to tell due to the fact that I was quite accustomed to her doing that, everytime I did something wrong in the past, it would take a huge amount of tears and pleads to not do whatever I did again, just to get her to open her eyes again, it become a habit of hers, then it turned into a bit of a game between us .
That's why I no longer feel as much panic and alarmed as before, the girls who on the other hand were unfamiliar with what was going on, began to panic, Suguha especially tried to directly call for the nearest hospital, but I stopped here and told here that it was better to bring her home instead .
She trusted my decisions and stopped calling for help, I couldn't help but note that she seemed to have brought herself a phone, I really should remember to ask her for her number later after dealing with this .
I carried her on my back and was about to head home, but I then remembered the girls that were present and looked to be still quite panicking and thinking that at this point of time, it was an evil that I must deal with, I decided to call the girls over to the house as well, just as I said this, I sensed my mother biting my shoulder and understood that she didn't agree with my decision .
But unless she wanted to make that clear herself and wake up, then she can only keep biting me and just accept what was going to happen, I felt her bite getting more and more weaker until it completely stopped, we also had arrived to the mansion thankfully .
I turned to look at the girls who were now holding the packages and asked Suguha to already go ahead and open the door, she handed me the bags she was holding and directly opened the door, she suggested that I put my mother in her room to rest, but sensing her intentions on my back .
I shook my head and found a comfy couch to make her rest in, the girls began to swarm both of us asking if she was going to be okay and if there were anything they can do to help, I told them to help Suguha with the unpacking and if possible lend her a hand in finishing the shores and the cooking the dinner .
At my words, they looked at one another as if distributing the tasks among themselves, once they seemed to have come to an agreement, they then nodded at me and started to follow Suguha who was still looking at us with a worried face, but I signaled to her that she shouldn't be that worried, only after hearing my confirmation that everything was okay did she finally started to do her own work .
Noticing how were they all waiting for her instructions, I couldn't help but joke to myself that it was indeed good to have so many helping hands in the house, but soon turned my attention back to towards my mother who was still acting as if she was really unconscious and said :
" They are all gone, Mom, shouldn't you be waking up already, I might leave on a dangerous mission soon and never come back, would you be able to.... .
Without even waiting for me to finish saying anything else, she woke up and I saw that the moment she opened her eyes, they were red and she seemed to already starting to tear up and said :
Huh, what mission, no, you aren't going, no, I forbade you to go, you only have joined the school for a few days, you shouldn't be ready, no, I will call Mari-san to postpone it .
" So you only waking up now, huh .
Remembering that she should have continued to do her her role more effectively, a wave of embarrassment washed over her, but I just acted as if I had not seen it, she then glared at me and instead following up with the topic of conversation that was at hand, she said :
What do you expect me to do, I was at loss of what to do too, it's not like everyday someone try and joke about my son dating more than two people at once, y'know, those friends of yours know how to make some weird jokes .
" So you think that they were joking and that's why you fainted, what a weird sense of humor this is ? .
Since they were joking about this so easily, I thought that they should have a taste of what a sick joke that was, what's with your weird expression, it was a joke right ?.
I was trying to act as carefree as possible, thinking that if she thought that it was a joke and already acted like that, then it was better for her to keep thinking like that, that's what I believed, but it seemed that my facial expressions sold me out, hearing her serious tone of asking about whether was it a joke or not, made me a bit conflicated on how to answer .
But I had already prepared myself to her asking me about it before, so for me it was a lot easier now to just face her with the truth, sooner or later she will need to know about what was going on here, after all, she is my mother, I answered her inquiry at first with silence, silence that made her start to panic a bit, she said nervously :
Ryuu, my mood is a bit sore right now, so don't test my patience anymore, go ahead and answer me truthfully or I..... .
" Well the truth is, I'm indeed dating two girls at the same time ~slap~.... .
I got slapped directly by my mother, it wasn't a cheeky slap, this was the very first time that my mom had slapped me like that, I didn't really feel much about this, other than getting a little bit frustrated at her not even giving me a chance to explain myself, but I really didn't blame her much for slapping me .
