The audience once witnessing the captain appearing in the center of the training ground and standing opposite to Moroha went into an uproar, Moroha was going to be assessed by the captain personally for some reason, was it because of his statute as an Ancient Dragon or was he aiming for something else .
Either way the two stood opposite to one another and first say a few pleasantries to one another then got in position and started their fight, Moroha seemed to wrap things up in a hasty manner and used the dark art he just used to triumph over the captain .
I laughed at seeing him doing something like this, the captain injected Prana into his and with the use of a light art, he was able to extinguish the flames that were coming towards him, using the air shockwaves that came out from using that light art, the shockwave didn't just extinguished the flames, but it throw Moroha into the air directly .
Pursuing him relentlessly was the sword of the captain, he took advantage of him being in vulnerable situation and directly tried to attack, which the other guy was able to parry with a bit of difficulty for the most part, he still got hit by one of the captain sword strikes and was forced to collude against it with his body, he failed and was sent down crashing .
But him being smart enough to increase his output of Prana in the last second, helped him greatly in lowering the impact of the crash, but the assault of the captain was still not over, the captain sword kept putting on speed, every clash between the two seemed to be in favor of the Captain's side, forcing Moroha to retreat, taking a step after a step backwards, I didn't understand what was going on at first .
I acknowledge the Captain's ability and strength, but I also was aware that Haimura Moroha have more strength than he was currently showing, but seeing him suddenly spouting a mouthful of blood, made me understand that he was currently facing another light art, one that was damaging him from the inside and one that I was familiar with and even felt before, Venus .
It seemed that Moroha wasn't fighting like that on purpose, but it seemed that the captain had already got him good by forcing him to be at the back end .
I thought that the battle should be good as over, from the looks of things here, it seemed that he still had no clue what was even damaging him, but just as I thought like this, I suddenly witnessed the appearance of Satsuki at the stands and her shouting at the still struggling Moroha, telling him to remember that he was the hero and the guardian of the Holy Sword Saratiga .
She also reminded him of his promise to her back in their past lives, she also offered to reward him if he were to win and she said that she would give him a kiss, I didn't even notice when did she appeared, but after hearing what she was saying, I was completely at loss of what to say or think about this happening in front of me .
At her shout, I saw that the guy who was fighting and already looking to be resting on the ground, gasping for air, suddenly turning his head to look at her, then I saw his eyes widen up slightly and a second later changes were beginning to happen to him, I saw his ashen face suddenly cleared up and his eyes shone with brilliance, then I saw him increasing his output of Prana even more, forcing the toxic like Prana in his body out completely .
Then he straightened his posture up and looked like he was a completely different person, looking at him like that, I felt that my initial judgement about this already being over was wrong, it seemed that it had only started, that guy seemed to have recalled something out of his memory just now .
The reason I was able to tell, was because he himself seemed to whisper the two words ' I remember ' , he saying these words were enough for me to understand what was going on .
I saw that he was suddenly exuding an air of confidence as he looked at her and gave her a smile and a thumb up, then I saw him putting his hand on his sword hilt and then heard him say :
Come Saratiga .
Then as if the light in the arena was being sucked away, a sword more brilliant and more glimmering than before appeared in his hand, facing the the attack of the Captain, he infused more Prana into the sword and slashed at the incoming broadsword, the results of their exchange was him standing in his place like before and him forcing the captain to go backwards a little and his training clothes to currently have a cut on the chest .
Moroha was also having the sleeves of his shirt getting cut, but surprisingly even though the two of them didn't seem to suffer from much of an injury the two stopped fighting and Moroha sheathed his rapier like sword and said :
I believe that's my win .
It's indeed .
That was how the captain replied and I then saw the two of them shaking hands with one another, I didn't quite get what was going on, but I was certain that this fight seemed to not be a simple assessment, it seemed to me that the two of them were solving some kind of vendetta between them two .
After the battle was finished, it ended in a tie, at least that we believed, but in reality it seemed that their was some kind of terms that were agreed upon by the two of them, those terms were what allowed Moroha to declare himself as the winner .
After a few short seconds of silence, the cheering began to sound in the arena for the two guys that were fighting just now without discerning who won or who lost, the fight was good enough to make people here in awe of what they just witnessed .
I suddenly sensed someone gazing at me and turned to see that Satsuki who appeared suddenly here, was actually looking at me as if asking me to do something, it felt awkwardly familiar to me and I found myself nodding at her .
She seemed a bit surprised herself, then she all of a sudden hopped out of the stands area and directly throw herself at her brother's embrace and gave him a smooch on the cheek, earning him the glaring stares of the envious bunch in the stands .
Seeing his awkward expression, I thought amusingly that it was a good feeling to not be the one under the limelight for once, I then saw the captain making his way towards them, Shizuno had decided to use the stairs to reach them as well, I might have went and joined them, if not the fact that me appearing there with the three girls locking arms with mine, might not be a good thing .
The captain suddenly bowed his head to Satsuki and directly apologized for the heinous things that his younger brother said and did, the girl was shocked at this first, but then she asked the captain to get up and she said that it wasn't the Captain's fault, so he really shouldn't be apologizing or anything like that, but in the end she just accepted it and she said that it was all good .
I was suddenly pulled up by the girls and even though Satsuki was waving at me to go and join them, I saw that once she saw me being pulled away by those three guys, I was able to sense that she was glaring at me, but I was already a bit far away from being able to see her expression clearly, I just shook my head a few times, then turned to the guys that were carrying me away and said :
" I understood what you guys intending to do, but you know I'm able to walk just fine, so I hope you can put me down .
At least they didn't seem to argue with that logic, they let my feet touch the ground finally and we began walking towards the gates of the school area, so I had no doubt that they seemed to have an idea about what we were going to do and where we will be going, but after we reached the town, I saw that the three of them kept looking at one another with bewilderment, so I couldn't help but ask, saying :
" So, you wanted to spend some time with me, could any of you tell me, where we will be going and what we were going to do, any of you had a clue ? .
Discarding the weird glances that I kept on getting for being the only person in the street who was being held by two girls like that, three if they were to count Momochi who was holding the arms of Sophia, I was having already to much of a headache now to care about those guys who were beginning to say some hurtful things and making a wrong assumptions again .
Not to mention them, I still have no mind to even ask Haruka why she was tagging and going along with this, she was there from the beginning and was still here and hadn't say anything to oppose the idea of getting out, which was quite weird, but I didn't have no mind to ask her about it and this was still the case .
I looked at them as I asked this question and saw that out of the three girls, only one seemed to have some suggestions, the other were completely clueless about what to do after we arrived here in town, but I was afraid of the fact that the only one who had an idea was the one girl that I was a bit scared of her way of thinking, Sophia was the only one who volunteered to say :
We should go to a Karaoke, I know many songs that I would like to sing, it was also private, so we would be able have fun without caring about the world .
I had already expected that with her way of thinking, she might be able to suggest doing something like that, but she wanted us to Karaoke, while I wanted nothing now but a calm atmosphere to be able to calm the headache on my mind .
" How about we go to a dining restaurant first, I'm quite hungry, how about y'all .
Before the others even state their opinion, the girl began to push forward the idea of going to Karaoke, I seeing her like this and noting that the other guys seemed to be interested in trying that out, I thought that my chance to slip away had come and I directly tried to make use of it, I said :
" See it isn't working, you guys should go and have fun on your own, my mind currently is filled with different kinds of thoughts, I would only be a bother, if you were to temper your own plan of having fun for my sake, you go and have fun, I'm sure that we will be able to get the chance to hangout again in the future .
Why not go to the restaurant first then we could later decide on what to do next ? .
I saw that just as I tried to break free from their arms, Tokiko and Sophia tightened their grasp on me and Tokiko said this, dispelling any thoughts that I had before about being able to slip away .
I went to a fancy restaurant together with the three girls on purpose and it seemed that my decision was indeed right, they let go of me to help each other in fixing their hair and sorting their clothes, I had the chance to finally escape, but just as I turned to look beside me, I saw the pitiful puppy eyes that Haruka was looking at me with and in the end, I decided against it .
At least I was able to make them let go of me and began to act properly, once they were done fixing their makeup after a whole 15 minutes, while I just combed my hair with my hand in less than 10 seconds, but I guess looking at them now, it seemed that those 15 minutes were quite worth it .
I looked at them and asked if we should get going, they nodded at me and we entered the fancy restaurant, luckily it seemed that the tables inside wasn't completely reserved for other people, we found a table that didn't have reserved on it and on our way we were greeted by the staff in here, they gave us a bit weird looks, but they still didn't say anything about we heading to the table, so I think we were safe .
Waiting for the waitress to arrive with the menu, we began indulging on all kinds of talks, at least that would have been the word to describe it if listening to them chatting was considered joining in their conversation, then I was indulging myself in their talks, luckily the menu didn't take that long to arrive, we checked the food and the prices of the food listed in front of us and I couldn't help but suck a breath of cold air .
Which earned me the poor should go away kind of snort, I checked my pocket and found that it was indeed there, I still hadn't gotten my hands on that much money yet, but in my pocket I had the black card that Shizuno gave me .
I was still a bit reluctant to make use of it, but the way that waitress snorted ticked me off and made the girls with me quite embarrassed as well, Sophia was about to give her a piece of her mind, but I calmed her down and passed the card to the waitress and told her to go check if it was still on service, if not then I will be dealing with the situation as I saw fit .
The waitress was surprised at me getting out such a card, but she still went and checked it, then the next minute, I saw that the one who came back with the waitress was the manager of this establishment, he kept bowing down and greeting, while saying all kinds of praises, I wasn't able to make much sense of the words he used, but I got a general idea on what was going on here .
The restaurant belonged to the Urushibara Family, so our meal here will be for free, even though the girls were excited at this, I on the other hand decided that I no longer had an appetite, I took the card back and told them that we were leaving, just as we got out of the restaurant, I heard a familiar voice calling out to me .
