I don't know how much time has passed but I wake up in Lexi's RV. I struggle to get out of the bed, sore from the events. I head to the bathroom and look in the mirror, a lot of cuts and bruises, two black eyes but no missing teeth or anything serious
"Fuuuck, this looks bad. What am I gonna tell my family when I head back"
Just then Lexi walks in
"Jay!!"
She runs up and hugs me and it hurts everywhere
"Ughhhh... I'm happy to see you too but I'm still in so much pain"
"Oh sorry... you've been out for a whole day"
"I'm not surprised, I got fucked up."
"Yeah you did, but you freed us all. You got rid of the real monster that controlled all of us. You're a hero"
"I don't feel like one. I can barely move right now"
Lexi laughs
"I tried my best to nurse you like the bandaging and cleaning you up"
"I appreciate it."
I look out the window
"Are we still in the same spot?"
"We had to clean up everything, we don't want to leave any evidence or anything once we leave"
"Yeah smart. And the safe?"
Lexi goes to her bag and pulls out some of the money
"We all split it, it's more than enough for everyone to start their own life now.... and I'm ready to start mine with you"
"You sure you want that?"
"I wouldn't want it any other way"
Lexi gives me a quick kiss
"You're stuck with my crazy ass"
"On one condition"
"What's that?"
"You keep dressing up as a clown from time to time"
Lexi starts laughing
"Oh you liked me all dressed up in my cherry character?"
"Aside from what you did to my face... ever since I first laid eyes on you I was already hooked."
"I could tell, I was too"
I laugh
"It didn't seem like it at first"
"It was a love hate relationship let's be honest"
"Yeah I guess we can go with that. You know I've been thinking about something"
"What's that?"
"What if we don't shut down this place"
"Wait, what?"
"Yeah I mean, why don't we move all this to California and start over fresh and legit with everyone."
"You really want to do that after everything"
"Sure why not, it'll bring in money for everyone and everyone keeps their job"
"Well... I'm sure everyone would be on board. Just promise you won't turn into the kind of person Hill was"
"I promise"
"Alright. We'll you stay here and rest and I'll ask everyone if that's what they want to do"
She gives me a quick kiss and runs out the RV.
I walk over to the bathroom and look in the mirror and an evil grin comes across my face
"Im going to burn this fucking place down"
I grab the bag full of money and walk out the RV. I set up tanks of propane and turn them on. I hop in one of the trucks and then toss out a lighter and speed off. I see a huge explosion go off in my rear view mirror and I can only laugh as I drive away
"Sorry Lexi but I already knew what you had planned"
Days before the Christmas night situation I found plans laid out that showed Lexi's real intent, she was going to use me to get rid of Hill and take over the place and make it worse than before this time in California, she was using me as bait and playing me. Now I can ride off back to California, a rich and free man.
