A couple weeks go by and it's finally October, just a few more weeks left and I'll be done with this job. It's a Saturday shift so I already know it's going to be busy, especially now since it's October and everyone is going to want to go here before it closes. As I'm walking around the place I hear someone yell out at me
"Hey!!!! Security guard!!"
I turn around and it's Andy with a couple other guys from the football team and girls they brought along. I walk up to him
"Oh shit you finally came"
"Yeah it's our bye week, so we figured why not"
"Yeah it's a good place, just don't cause any problems though"
Andy starts laughing
"Oh man relax top flight"
"I'm just saying bro"
"I'm just messing with you"
"Alright well I'll catch up with you later, I have to do my rounds"
"Alright man"
We go our separate ways and I do my rounds around the place then head back to the security room. An hour or so goes by and I get a text from Monica
"Hey"
"What do you want?"
"You're still mad about that night?"
"You fucked my coworker right after our date"
"Ok… it's not like we're together"
"Yeah but still"
"You fucked her too!!"
"Yeah before I even met you"
"So what's the problem?"
"Nothing it's whatever"
"Well then if it's whatever, why are you still mad?"
Before I can respond I get a call on the walkie talkie
"Jay can you please come to the game booths, we have some people fucking with one of the workers"
"Im on my way"
I head over the games and when I get there I'm heart sinks a little. The people causing problems are Andy and the other guys, they're messing with the worker and wrecking the game. I run over and get in between them
"Andy!! Stop please"
"Relax Jay we're just having fun"
"No man I'm serious you need to stop now"
"Stop taking your job all serious"
"Listen to me!! Just stop now and leave!"
"We're not going anywhere"
I grab Andy by his shoulders and get close to where only he can hear me
"Listen to me dumb ass! Just leave because it's not going to end well for you guys"
Andy pushes me off and throws a punch at me, knocking me to the ground. Him and the other guys start jumping me and I'm just on the floor trying my best to protect myself but all I can hear is my own voice in my head
"No, no, no, they're going to fucking die!"
They continue kicking and punching me until some of the bigger workers come and pick them up, carrying them off to where they hold the people they plan on torturing until they killl them. I hear Sonny's voice lash out
"GET THEM THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!"
He picks me up and dusts me off as I feel blood coming from my nose and mouth.
"You alright?"
"Yeah I'm good"
"Go clean yourself up and relax for the rest of the day, we'll take over tonight"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, go on"
I head to my RV and go to the bathroom, I look in the mirror and I already see my eye all bruised and where a black eye is forming, my lip is busted and my nose is still bleeding, all that yet all I can think about is Andy. I hope they just let him go because they know he's my friend. Hours later after the place has closed for the day I hear a knock at the door. I answer it and it's Zeke.
"What's up Zeke?"
"Sonny wants you to come out here"
I can see it in his face that something is going to happen
"What's wrong?"
"Just… come out here"
I head out and I see everyone standing there, with Sonny in the middle of the crowd. I head over and on the ground, bloody and beaten up is Andy. Sonny looks at me and motions me over
"You know what to do Jay"
I look at Andy and he looks up at me
"Fuck…."
I look at Sonny
"Hes my friend, he's like a brother to me I can't do this"
"Friends don't jump you when you tell them to leave because it's your job"
"Yeah but…"
Sonny interrupts
"No buts, you already know the deal"
"Please… let it slide one time, I promise he won't say anything"
Andy weakly replies
"I promise I'll keep my mouth shut"
Sonny looks at me and him
"If you don't do this… you both die"
He puts a gun in my hand and I look at Andy
"I'm sorry…."
Andy just closes his eyes and I go around him, put the gun to the back of his head and pull the trigger. His body slumps to the ground and I throw the gun away from me and begin to walk away. One of the workers tries to get in my way
"Where are you going? The party is just.."
Before he can say anything else I punch him across his jaw and knock him out. Behind me I hear Sonny start laughing
"Y'all leave him alone. You'll get over it Jay!"
I just put my head down and walk back to the RV. I sit inside the RV fighting back tears, thinking about what's going to happen. I think about how Andy's parents are going to feel when they get the news their son is missing not knowing he's dead. I also think about the questions they're going to ask me when since I was his roommate, I can't say anything because I'm fucked either way, I tell the police what's going on I'm most likely going to get killed, I confess to killing Andy and I'm getting locked up. At this point I'm no better than the people that work here, I've killed multiple people including someone I considered a brother and there's nothing I can do about it, I think I'm going to have to leave back home once everything is done, it's not worth it anymore.
