Aria
Steffany looked away when her eyes met mine. She scratched her cheek awkwardly and smiled slightly.
"That's not what I meant, Aria. It's just that..." Steffany seemed at a loss for words, only able to smile awkwardly as she glanced at me.
I laughed softly and waved my hand gently, "I'm just kidding, you don't have to take it seriously," I replied, not wanting to make the atmosphere even more awkward.
Although I had no intention of letting go of my suspicions about Steffany just like that. I was sure Steffany was hiding something from me, and I wanted to make sure she wasn't the damn bitch who was trying to trap me today.
Stacy, who had been silent all this time, looked at Steffany and me and sighed loudly. When I looked at her, she leaned back on the sofa with a relieved expression.
"You look scary, Aria. I thought you came here to confront her," said Stacy, nodding her chin towards Steffany, who still looked uncomfortable.
