Golden Lion Shiki soared into the sky, his expression twisted with malevolent glee. "I haven't even killed a Celestial Dragon yet! This is just getting fun!"
The winds howled around him as he turned his gaze toward the horizon.
"When I strike, Roger should thank me for saving his wife's life!"
Laughing, Shiki returned to his flagship, which immediately rocketed across the sky at terrifying speed.
Rayleigh and Garp followed close behind, already bracing for the madness ahead.
But Jaeger, always ahead of the game, spoke up again during the live broadcast, his voice calm and methodical.
"She was the only one I was going to arrest, but because of Portagass D. Rouge's failure to cooperate, the Navy has wasted countless resources in the South Sea," he said, his words carrying an icy edge. "And that's something that doesn't sit well with me."
The words seemed innocent enough at first, but then Jaeger's demeanor shifted. He turned on the live stream, activating the chat group with a single, purposeful gesture.
The crowd watching around the world, from pirates to civilians, all watched in confusion and fear as Jaeger spoke once more, the air thick with menace.
"Tear the sky!" he commanded, his voice booming with an unearthly power.
"Smash, O stars!" he continued, his tone rising to a thunderous crescendo. "All things in heaven are mine, and all that rules the stars is mine!"
The atmosphere around Jaeger crackled with raw, divine energy. His body swelled with power as black Lightning began to coil around him, forming into serpentine shapes that flickered like deadly dragons.
Even though he was miles away from the live stream, his power surged, and the air itself seemed to bow to him.
Whitebeard and other world-renowned powerhouses couldn't help but widen their eyes in disbelief as Jaeger's form began to glow with an otherworldly light.
The thunder that surged from Jaeger's body was no ordinary storm. It was divine, a weapon of destruction capable of obliterating entire nations. He held it in his hand, a spear made of crackling black thunder that seemed almost alive.
A satisfied grin crept onto Jaeger's face, though his mind remained focused. The power within the spear was destructive—enough to wipe out entire countries.
And yet, he knew that the current form of the weapon could only destroy a small island, not the world itself. But that would change once he uttered the final incantation.
"Go ahead!" he declared, his muscles bulging as he hurled the Lightning Spear toward the island of Pochi.
With a final, thunderous proclamation, Jaeger shouted, "I am the Lightning that tears the stars!"
The weapon soared through the sky, leaving a trail of black lightning in its wake, and then—
Boom!
The deafening sound of thunder reverberated across the world, and the live broadcast screen was consumed by a raging storm of black thunder.
The shockwaves from the explosion spread, causing the very earth to tremble. It felt as though a massive, unseen giant was shaking the planet.
On Pochi Island, the sky tore open, and the spear's fury unleashed upon the island. Black thunder rained down like a torrential storm, washing over the island and its surrounding waters, suffocating everything in its path.
Doberman, who had been watching from a distance, felt the very ground beneath him shake.
He knew what this meant, even as he fell to his knees. The power Jaeger wielded was beyond comprehension. He had never witnessed anything so destructive.
An Island, once home to tens of thousands of people, was now nothing but a crater in the ocean. The black Lightning had evaporated the island, leaving only a massive pit where it once stood. The surrounding waters boiled from the intense heat, and a monstrous whirlpool began to form as the sea rushed in.
People around the world, watching in shock and horror, were left speechless. The island was gone. Vanished. As if it had never existed.
"What... what just happened?" came the confused murmur from the crowd.
"Is that a legendary ancient weapon?" someone asked in disbelief. "No... even Whitebeard couldn't destroy an island with a single strike..." (That dumbass clearly doesn't know shit…)
"Is… is this the true power of the Celestial Dragons?" more voices trembled.
"How can anyone wield something so terrifying?"
Whitebeard, the world's strongest man, clenched his fists as his sons watched him in silence. His own eyes were wide with an unfamiliar fear. Even he felt the weight of the power Jaeger had just unleashed.
Marco, captain of the first division, looked at Whitebeard with concern. "Ohh Daddy..."
Whitebeard, never one to show weakness, let out a hearty laugh, though it lacked its usual confidence.
"Gurararara"
"It's alright, Marco. A little lightning can't scare me!" He gripped his naginata tightly, his voice booming. "After Roger's death, I'm the strongest! There's no need to fear some brat of the Celestial Dragons!"
The crew rallied behind him, their spirits lifted by his words. "That's right! Daddy's Tremor Fruit can take anything down!"
Back in the Navy headquarters, the mood was far more somber. The fleet Admiral let out a deep sigh, while Sengoku, Tsuru, and the other high-ranking officers fell into uneasy silence.
Zephyr, the former admiral, muttered to himself in a hoarse voice, "Such power... it's the kind of strength that makes you feel hopeless."
Meanwhile, in the chat group, the mood was more relaxed, with users commenting on Jaeger's display of power.
[Chat Group]
Miyuki Uchiha:"Looks like I need to thank Jaeger for not killing me."
Luo Hao: "This Noble Phantasm is truly a force to be reckoned with. Even at its current level, it's overwhelming."
Jibril: "Amazing! Jaeger, you're now second on my list of most powerful beings, right after Lord Artosh!"
Erina Nakiri: "This is cruel..."
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Indeed. But this is typical of the Celestial Dragons. Extravagant, cruel, and without a care for the lives of others."
Esdeath: "Boring. Are Golden Lion and Rayleigh finally going to move?"
Yamamoto Mei: "Wait for Rouge. They won't come until then."
--
Jaeger ignored the chat group completely. His attention was already elsewhere.
Even after releasing that absurd amount of power, he felt only mild fatigue.
His enhanced Sage body handled the output without any real strain.
Doberman still knelt before him, trembling.
Jaeger's voice was calm — almost friendly, which only made it worse.
"You saw what happened," he said. "And this is only the beginning. Every thirty minutes, if Portgas D. Rouge doesn't surrender to the Navy, I will destroy another island."
Doberman couldn't form words.
He just nodded, throat dry, heartbeat loud enough he could hear it in his ears.
Jaeger glanced toward the live camera, and for a moment, his expression softened.
"Ms. Rouge," he said gently, "please think carefully. Your choices affect the lives of countless people. Make a wise decision."
The stream kept rolling.
And the entire world watched — devastated, terrified, furious.
Civilians cried.
Others screamed at the screen.
The desperation twisted into anger, and soon that anger turned toward Rouge.
"Is this woman really worth all these innocent lives?!"
"How can she just hide while people die for her?!"
"Goddamn it, you bitch! Show your worthless ass already!"
A random man in the crowd screamed, spit flying everywhere.
Another shouted even louder:
"Roger's wife is as much of a cunt as Roger!"
The crowd roared, splitting between terror and rage — and all of it aimed at one woman.
--
As the hours passed, Jaeger's threat hung over the world like a storm cloud ready to burst.
Thirty minutes later, he followed through.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Rouge. It seems you've made the wrong choice," Jaeger said softly — the tone of someone speaking to an old friend, not the man who had just erased an island.
Doberman trembled beside him, too terrified to speak.
Jaeger's voice shifted, turning cold again.
"Prepare to set sail for the Kingdom of Roses."
Doberman froze.
The Kingdom of Roses — a peaceful, independent island known worldwide for tourism and beauty.
Population: over 100,000.
And now, it was next.
"Yes, my Lord…" he whispered, barely able to get the words out.
As Jaeger's ship approached the island, he took in the scenery — bright flowers, rose-colored beaches, calm waters.
"A shame," he muttered. "Those who refuse to join the World Government and pay their heavenly tribute will now pay the price for their foolishness."
The Star Treasure crystallized in his hand again, forming another massive spear of divine black lightning. The air cracked around it like reality itself was splitting.
Jaeger didn't hesitate.
"Boom!!"
Lightning engulfed the island instantly.
The entire Kingdom of Roses turned to ash in a single strike.
Flowers, beaches, cities, people — gone.
Nothing remained but boiling water and drifting smoke.
Jaeger's voice echoed calmly:
"That's two. I trust you understand the message now, Ms. Rouge?"
The world fell silent again.
Even the most ruthless pirates — the ones who used to massacre villages without blinking — were pale and speechless after watching Jaeger obliterate a nation in seconds.
Some civilians broke down crying right where they stood.
But the anger in the air wasn't aimed at Jaeger.
It was aimed at Rouge.
"Damn it, is that woman trying to kill everyone?! Someone do something!"
"She's the Pirate King's wife — of course she doesn't give a damn about common civilians!"
"That bastard Roger! He should let the Navy tear him apart piece by piece!"
"Exactly! If it weren't for those two, how would the South Sea have turned into this hell?!"
"Rouge, you bitch — is your pussy really worth this many lives?!"
The shouting grew louder, more vicious, more desperate.
Everyone saw what Jaeger was doing.
But in their eyes, Rouge was the one allowing it to continue.
If she had stepped forward earlier, maybe two islands wouldn't have vanished.
Maybe tens of thousands wouldn't have died screaming.
It was a grim realization spreading through the masses and their fury kept growing.
Meanwhile, aboard the Moby Dick, the flagship of the Whitebeard Pirates, Marco clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles turned white. Disbelief and dread warred across his face.
"What the hell is this…? He can just keep firing off attacks like that? And he's barely even winded!"
The crew felt the heavy atmosphere crackle with tension. At the helm, Whitebeard watched the distant horizon, his usually indomitable presence shrouded in rare, uneasy silence.
"He's a monster…" someone whispered.
No one dared to contradict it.
Across the New World…
Golden Lion Shiki, Rayleigh, and Garp—each watching from the South Sea—shared the same grim realization.
Just what is Jaeger?
Whether he was a Devil Fruit user or the master of some ancient weapon, one fact was clear: the threat he posed was beyond anything the world had faced in generations.
Garp's heart twisted with conflict. As a Vice Admiral, he should want Rouge to come forward—to end the slaughter, to save innocent lives. But…
That damn promise.
He'd sworn to Roger he would protect Rouge and the child, no matter what. Surrendering her to Jaeger—a Celestial Dragon—would be a fate worse than death.
Rayleigh and the Golden Lion, by contrast, had no such qualms. The lives of commoners barely registered on their conscience. So long as Rouge remained hidden, that was fine with them. But if she did appear… they would not stand by and do nothing.
In their eyes, a "Celestial Dragon" pampered by privilege—even with overwhelming force—would never compare to a true pirate in a real fight.
[Chat Group]
Miyuki Uchiha: "Do you guys actually think Rouge will give herself up?"
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Not likely. She's pregnant. That changes everything."
Luo Hao: "It doesn't matter. You reincarnators know where she is hiding. Whether she surrenders or not, her fate is already sealed."
Erina Nakiri: "So what will Jaeger do with her? Kill her and the baby?"
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "No."
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Jaeger's a bastard, but he has a soft spot for beauties. I'd bet anything he'll spare her—and probably treat her well, knowing his type."
Esdeath: "This is infuriating! If she keeps hiding, the pirates will just keep stalling. Yamamoto Mei, I'm going after Rayleigh myself!"
Yamamoto Mei: "Understood. I'll take the Golden Lion. Akainu is already on his way—he can deal with Garp. A 'naval hero' who dares cross Jaeger… he'll get what he deserves."
Yamamoto Mei: "But honestly, I think Rouge will turn herself in soon. Everything we know says she's gentle—and she has to see how much worse things will get if she doesn't."
Suddenly, on Jaeger's ship, the Den Den Mushi began to ring.
Poroporu—poroporu—poroporu…
A maid hurried over, bowing deeply. "Saint Jaeger! It's for you!"
Jaeger accepted the receiver with a casual smile, as if none of the world-shaking drama concerned him at all.
"Let's hear it."
The face of the Den Den Mushi shifted, morphing into the sultry, confident features of Stussy.
"Saint Jaeger, it's me."
Her tone was businesslike, yet laced with that familiar, playful edge.
She didn't bother with pleasantries. She spoke three words that made everyone on the bridge freeze.
"Portgas D. Rouge has surrendered."
