Chapter 12 - HIS RULES

Tricia POV

Morgan stepped down and looked at me. I haven't gotten myself cleaned. A smirk appeared on his face as he asked me if I was not comfortable with the bathroom. I nodded and looked around. The house was big for such a bathroom.

"You can use mine," I heard as he walked up the stairs.

Pondering if I should follow him, I already saw him at the top of the stairs. I rushed to join him as we entered a room. It was large and beautiful.

"This is beautiful," my mouth twitched in amazement at the sight that welcomed me.

"This is my room," he said, and I smiled, looking at our room, but what he said next made me dumbfounded.

I wasn't staying in the room with him as he had a separate room for me which was downstairs. He warned me not to come upstairs without his permission, and the bathroom that irritates me remains my bathroom.

This made me shocked, but I waved the shock off; he might want to stay pure before our ceremony. I asked him to leave the room and he smiled, walking away. With a swift movement, I walked to the bathroom and had my bath.

I pulled on the same wear I wore to the bathroom as I didn't bring anything up with me. My mind was already made up as I walked out of the bathroom.

I was amazed to see a dress on the bed. Beside it was a note. It was Morgan and this made me happy. He thought of bringing this as I didn't bring anything up.

The dress made me look more like a male and I smiled. I walked down with the dress I wore before entering the living room.

"Thank you," I said to Morgan, who smiled, nodding his head.

Morgan offered to show me my room and I nodded. He took me by the way of the small bathroom to a door.

"Here is your room." I stared at the room and asked him why I couldn't stay with him. The room was small and it made me remember what Alex had told me.

I waved it off as all I could think of was Morgan, saying countless times to myself that I was no longer a Loyd but a Bliss. My phone rang again and I expected it to be Miguel.

Seeing Alex's name on the phone made me hiss. I turned back but Morgan was no longer there. I walked to the bed and rejected the call.

He called me again, and this time my heart probed me to answer it. On the call, he sounded like he was dying and I felt touched. Realization dawned on me, I was foolish to think it wasn't a prank to get me back home.

Maybe he needed a maid which Cherry couldn't be. My mind moved to the revenge plan I had playing in my mind.

I would surely get my revenge. How can he kill our parents and pin the blame on me? He was bloody, and I guess it's the reason Alonso, Bernard, and some other guys I saw left being Alex's friend.

One of them would have probed Morgan into getting me so that I wouldn't face the same fate that my parents faced. I couldn't still believe how merciless Alex was.

He blamed everything on me whereas he was the one who killed them. Alex's call came into my phone again, and I smiled, answering the call.

"How is your life going with him?" I squinted as I heard him say this.

After the call, I hissed. Alex told me that I could come to the house anytime I wanted to see the luxurious life I was missing. Such a mess to be called a man. My only thought was that Cherry couldn't behave like a maid to him.

"Tricia," It was Morgan who called. I got up on my feet and walked to meet him.

With a smile on his face, he handed me a list, and I stared at him asking for what it was.

"Can't you read?" He asked.

"Sorry," I said walking back to my room.

Before I could get halfway to my room, Morgan stopped. He barked at me like I was a child and told me never to walk out of his sight, except he told me.

My hands shook as I looked at him, but I tried to convince myself that he acted in such a manner because he was tired. Everything in me wanted to touch him, but his aura told me not to.

"What's wrong?" I asked silently.

Morgan looked at me and got up from where he was. I sniffled holding my hands together, not ready for what he would do next.

Without turning back, he walked up the stairs. I returned to my room smiling like a child. Unfolding the paper he gave me, I began to read. It was a list of rules I needed to abide with. Some made me sneer.

"What does he mean by I must obey him?" I asked myself, waving some questions I had about some rules. Wasn't he my husband, and I knew how to obey people?

There were other weird rules in the list like I should touch him without his permission. How impossible was that? The rules made me laugh as I read on.

Some other things seemed impossible on the list. I overlooked them and placed the paper on a very small side table.

My stomach crunched making me realize that I was hungry. I stepped out of the room and began to look around for the kitchen.

Finally, I found a place that looked like a kitchen. Checking the whole cabin, I saw nothing, not a single cooking ingredient, but on the cooker was a pot with a spoon. The kitchen was dry with nothing.

There were some cooking utensils in the cabin but nothing to cook.
