After school, in an empty training ground in Konoha, Minato Namikaze began his training.
After creating a shadow clone, he had the clone practice Wind, Fire, and Lightning Release ninjutsu, while his main body began physical training.
It was through this continuous physical training that Minato Namikaze's physique development had reached such a high level. As his physique development continued to improve, he could clearly feel his chakra constantly growing.
After exhausting his chakra and most of his stamina, Minato Namikaze walked towards his room. It was the same every day.
The next day after getting out of bed, both his chakra and body would be fully restored to their optimal state. This had to be a bonus from the system. No matter how hard he trained, after a night's sleep, all fatigue and hidden injuries would be completely healed.
Today, as usual, Minato Namikaze went to the academy.
However, as class time arrived, he found that the teacher was not there.
After a period of waiting, the sound of footsteps finally came from the doorway.
Then, he saw Tamaki Shingetsu leading a girl with a full head of red hair inside.
The previously bored Minato Namikaze's spirits lifted. My little Nana has arrived.
"Everyone, this is a new student. Please get along well," Tamaki Shingetsu said, pointing to Uzumaki Kushina. "Introduce yourself," he then said to her.
"Hello everyone, my name is Uzumaki Kushina, and my dream is to become the first female Hokage!" Uzumaki Kushina walked to the podium and introduced herself loudly, not at all frightened by the unfamiliar environment.
"Haha, wants to be Hokage? She must be dreaming."
"Yeah, look at her red hair and round face. She's just like a tomato."
"That's right, that's right. I've never heard of a tomato becoming Hokage."
Following Uzumaki Kushina's introduction, the classroom immediately filled with mockery, with the "tomato" comments being the most prevalent.
"I'm not afraid! Don't mess with me, or I'll beat you flat! Besides, I hate tomatoes too!" the mocked Uzumaki Kushina shouted back loudly.
No matter how angry Uzumaki Kushina got, in Minato Namikaze's eyes, she was still so cute.
"Alright, alright, quiet down. Don't bully the new student." After speaking, Tamaki Shingetsu had Uzumaki Kushina find a seat.
As it happened, she sat in front of Minato.
This was because the only empty spot was the one in front of Minato Namikaze, which he had deliberately saved for Kushina. It wasn't that no one else wanted the seat, but Minato had thrown out anyone who tried, using the excuse that he hated having people sit in front of him.
After Kushina sat down in front of him, Minato kept staring at her back and her hair. My little pepper has finally arrived.
Perhaps Minato's gaze was too intense, as Kushina, sitting in front, sensed it. She immediately turned around and saw the blond-haired boy behind her staring at her hair.
"What are you looking at? You hate my hair too, don't you? Shut up, or I'll punch you." After speaking, she waved a cute little fist.
"No, quite the opposite! I think your hair is very beautiful. It's so vibrant and bright," Minato said with a smile, facing the pretending-to-be-fierce Kushina.
"R-really?" The previously fierce Kushina immediately blushed and mumbled. If it weren't for Minato's excellent hearing, he likely wouldn't have caught it.
"It is." Minato gave a sunny smile. That handsome and warm smile struck a chord deep in Kushina's heart.
The shy Kushina immediately turned her head away, no longer looking at Minato's smile.
Minato, however, continued to stare at Kushina's back, as if he could never get enough of the view.
Kushina could also feel the intense gaze on her back. She sat like an ostrich with its head in the sand, her face still red.
After class, a few people led by Uchiha Mahui approached Kushina. They probably wanted to vent the anger from yesterday's loss to Minato Namikaze on this outsider from another village.
"Hey, look! A round, red face, plus red hair. She's just like a tomato!" Uchiha Mahui said, pointing at Kushina's face as if he'd discovered a new continent.
"Haha, you're right, Mahui! That's the perfect description. From a distance, she really does look like a tomato," Uchiha Mahui's crony immediately agreed.
Seeing Kushina's reaction, some of the other students also started laughing.
This made Minato frown. He wasn't the original Minato; his values and worldview were completely different. The woman he had chosen was not someone these little brats and nobodies could mock. He immediately prepared to teach these arrogant kids a lesson, especially their leader, Uchiha Mahui. It seemed yesterday's lesson wasn't memorable enough.
