Tarun returned to his dwelling.
He knew that the time he had been waiting for was not far off.
Time flew by as the Titan gods lived in unease, Gaea suppressed her anger and resentment, and Uranus continued his arrogant and conceited days.
A hundred years after the Cyclopes were imprisoned, Gaea gave birth to three more monsters.
And this time, they were the Hecatoncheires, even more terrifying than the Cyclopes. They had fifty heads and a hundred arms, with ferocious faces, fearless of danger and divine power, and possessed immense strength.
They were even more powerful than the Cyclopes, born with immense divine power. Even the twelve Titans, who had grown for over a thousand years, were no match for them. This enraged the King of Gods, and a strong sense of crisis enveloped him.
If the Cyclopes before represented the rift between the King of Gods and the Queen of Gods, symbolizing incompleteness and dissatisfaction, then these Hecatoncheires represented the division and hatred between heaven and earth.
By now, the relationship between Uranus and Gaea had reached an all-time low. Gaea never criticized her children for their appearance or power, but Uranus's disgust was so obvious.
This time, Uranus was unwilling to show even a shred of patience. The moment the Hecatoncheires were born, he used his divine king's creation power and unhesitatingly threw these three monsters into the endless abyss.
This time, he didn't even bother to invent a crime.
This brutal act once again plunged the twelve Titans, who had been drawn by the huge commotion, into a panic of self-preservation. They didn't even dare to take another look, prostrating themselves and begging the King of Gods to quell his anger, fearing they would be caught in the crossfire.
Uranus did not think he had done anything wrong. He was the high and mighty King of Gods, the recognized Lord of the World, and any existence that displeased him was inherently sinful.
He even blamed Gaea, scolding her for giving birth to the even more hideous Hecatoncheires after the monsters like the Cyclopes.
Gaea, having just given birth, was extremely weak. She couldn't stop the enraged Uranus and could only watch helplessly as her children were thrown into the abyss, only to be forced back into her body through the abyss.
The painful wails of the Hecatoncheires echoed in her mind, mingling with the cries of the already present Cyclopes, causing her a splitting headache and no moment of peace.
Moreover, having children already born forcibly returned was a forced interruption of the birthing process, causing her already weak body to suffer severe trauma again.
And her former beloved, not only showed no remorse but also blamed and cursed her. This double torment of body and spirit finally brought Gaea's resentment and hatred to a peak at this moment.
The past affection and sweetness had completely vanished. At this moment, the benevolent Mother Earth had only one thought in her mind.
She wanted to end this painful life.
But how to end it? Gaea was at a loss for a moment.
Although she was a primordial god, she was not skilled in combat. Coupled with the consumption over the years and the damage caused by the birth and forced return of the Cyclopes and Hecatoncheires, her divine power had plummeted.
Now, she was no match for Uranus at all. By herself, there was no possibility of overthrowing Uranus.
For a time, Gaea didn't know who to turn to for help.
Meanwhile, Uranus was completely unaware of his Queen's abnormality. The birth of the Hecatoncheires had given him a strong sense of crisis. He once again recalled that haunting prophecy.
First it was the Cyclopes, then now the Hecatoncheires, and each time stronger than the last. What would be next? Would they be born with more than just powerful divine strength?
These current children could not threaten his position as King of Gods, but what about the next ones?
This thought made him almost restless.
After much thought, Uranus decided to once again consult the three mysterious Fates. It had been over a thousand years since his last visit, and perhaps they had already glimpsed some traces of destiny, and might be able to reveal something.
Thinking this, he turned to Gaea, inviting her as if nothing had happened: "My Queen, I am going to visit the three Fates. I wonder if they have discovered anything in the past millennium. Would you like to come with me?"
Gaea looked at the man who had committed all these evil deeds and caused her immense harm, yet was now inviting her so nonchalantly. Her heart turned completely cold.
She did not refuse, nodding expressionlessly.
Uranus was not unaware of Gaea's dissatisfaction over the past millennium, but he didn't care.
In his opinion, Gaea had given birth to these hideous monsters who disrespected the King of Gods, and he had not punished them, which was already his generosity. Gaea should be grateful to him.
He also had no worries that Gaea would retaliate against him, because it was well known that the benevolent Mother Earth was not skilled in combat.
And what he was more concerned about now was the fate of the future.
The two thus once again arrived before the Temple of Fate.
The three Fates were still in the temple, arranging the threads that symbolized destiny. They showed no surprise at the arrival of Uranus and Gaea, as if they had long expected it.
"Respected Fates, a thousand years ago you said that when you had grown a little and could glimpse the outline of destiny, you would allow us to visit again. Is now the time?"
Uranus spoke first. Towards these mysterious Fates, even he, as the King of Gods, maintained respect.
"Respected great King of Gods, your destiny is so noble. We have tried to explore it, but still have no results." The clear voice of Clotho, the eldest sister, echoed in the temple, ethereal.
Uranus was somewhat disappointed, but still asked unwillingly: "Are there no hints at all, beautiful goddesses? I only need a small hint."
"Your Majesty, our abilities are truly limited. It's not that we don't want to help you." Lachesis, the second sister, said, her tone helpless.
Gaea watched this scene with cold eyes, even finding it a little amusing.
Did the arrogant Uranus also have moments of fear?
It seemed he still cared deeply about that prophecy, despite looking down on Prince Tarun who gave it, he still harbored resentment about what he said.
Thinking of Tarun, Gaea's heart suddenly stirred.
She recalled what Tarun had said a thousand years ago when she parted ways with him.
The weak but sincere God of Prophecy told her that if one day she made up her mind, she could come to him, and he would do his best to help her.
But... Prince Tarun was so weak, what could he help her with?
Gaea sighed, but still decided to find a time to secretly meet Tarun, at least to clarify which child was mentioned in the original prophecy.
Just as she was formulating a plan in her mind, the youngest of the three Fates, under Uranus's persistent questioning, sighed helplessly.
"Since Your Majesty is so insistent, then let us ask our Father God. Perhaps he will know the answer."
At these words, Uranus and Gaea froze simultaneously.
