Who is that?" said Aton. "That's a little girl I found a while ago," said Neil. "She's pretty," said Aton. "Go talk to her — she'd like the company," said Neil. "Really? But what if she doesn't like me?" said Aton. "I'm sure she will," said Neil.
Neil put his hand out and shifted reality, warping Aton down the waterfall. "Hm," said the girl while looking at Aton. "Um, hi — I'm Aton. What's your name?" Aton said, very flustered. "My name's Alicia," she said very kindly. "How'd you get down here?" she said. "Well, Neil put his hand out and then I was here, I guess. You know Neil, right?" "Neil is my family. He took me in when I was just three years old. He said, 'This is your home; even though you are not my own, we'll always be family,'" — or at least that's the last thing I can remember," said Alicia. "Sounds like a great guy," said Aton.
Suddenly the ground and even the air started shifting, and they were warped to a dining room with an entire feast spread across it. "It's time to eat," said Neil. "I've never seen so much food in one place before," said Aton. "Eat as much as you'd like," said Neil. After eating, Neil began showing Aton around the mansion. "There's a lot of different areas here, but these are the main ones you'll probably use the most: here's the kitchen, the living room, and this is your room," he said while warping to each room. His room had a giant window where he could see the river and the waterfall. When he looked out the window he could see Alicia already back outside, sitting alone. Aton frowned at the sight of it. "Why is she all alone?" said Aton. "She's not very good at meeting new people. It's best to just leave her be," said Neil.
Later that night the three of them ate dinner — it was another big feast. "Wow, I'll never get used to this," said Aton. As they were eating, Aton noticed Alicia was looking at him; when Aton looked back, Alicia looked down at her food. "Hm?" said Aton.
When they finished eating they both went their separate ways. Aton felt curious, so he went over to his window and saw Alicia back at the waterfall. He decided to go talk to her. As he approached the waterfall, Alicia noticed him walking along the side. "Hey! How'd you get down there?" Aton shouted. "I used magic," she said. "Magic? You mean like Neil?" said Aton. "No! What Neil uses isn't magic — it's pure power," said Alicia. "What!" Aton said as he slipped and fell down the waterfall. Alicia wept and said, "citas ve levitate." Aton began to fall slower and slower until he was floating beside Alicia. "Are you okay?" she said, concerned. "How'd you do that?" said Aton. "Like I said, it's magic. Aren't you special too?" she said. "Apparently, but I can't remember using any magic," said Aton. "If you want, I can show you," said Alicia. "Of course," said Aton.
"Basically there are four magic types that I know of: dark magic, natural magic, holy magic, and celestial magic. The easiest is natural magic; then it's holy and dark magic; then celestial magic. In order to use one of these types of magic you have to say its name in another language. For celestial that would be citas; for holy that would be heel; for dark that would be del; and for natural that would be nos. After you say its name you have to add a transmission and then an action, but the only tricky part is your transmission has to be in that language as well. For example, when I said 'citas ve levitate,' citas meant celestial, ve meant go, and the action was levitate," said Alicia. "So that means you can use the hardest level of magic," said Aton. "Mhm. I can't use holy magic though, and I refuse to use dark magic," said Alicia. "Hm," said Aton. "Here — you try. Start with natural. Just say 'nos, ve, levitate,'" said Alicia while holding both of Aton's hands.
"Isn't that the same incantation though? Why don't I just say citas?" said Aton. "Each magic type has its own elements, and the elements for celestial would be way too hard for you to control right now," said Alicia. "Ohhh," said Aton. "Nos, ve, levitate," he said. Nothing happened. "Here — let me help you," said Alicia as she widened her palms and placed them directly below his. "Let's say it together," she said. "Nos, ve, levitate," they both said.
As they said those words there was a man in the trees who flicked his finger, shooting a tiny blue orb directly at them. "Alicia, watch out!" Aton screamed. Boom. The explosion was massive. "Aton! Aton! Where are you?!" Alicia yelled. She saw a shuffle in the rocks beside her. "Aton! Are you okay?" she said. "I'm fine. What was that?" he said as Alicia helped him up. "I don't know," she said in distress. Then they heard a voice: "Don't be afraid, young children. Your lives are more important to me than anyone else's," said the voice. "And who are you?" said Alicia. "Just a pope from the church here to collect the daughter of Satan," he said. "The daughter of who?" said Alicia, then she began to remember something from her past. She was a baby, and there was a woman speaking to her, and she was in a horrible place. The woman said, "I'm sorry you were born this way, child. Even though we are not alike, I will always be the one to guide you." Alicia started to cry. "What's wrong with me? What am I?" she shouted. "You are a dark being that needs to be executed. Now shall we begin?" said the man.
In a blink of an eye Neil appeared in front of the two children. "What's your name, strange man?" said Neil. "It's Estris," said the man. "You're fighting me?" said Neil. "Wait — are you that boy that attempted to fight Satan all by himself? What a foolish attempt," Estris said while shooting another blue orb out of his finger. Neil dodged and thought, Celestial magic, and he didn't say an incantation; he must've said it in his head. As Neil ran, Estris kept shooting blue orbs at him that moved at great speeds, but Neil began running up a tree; then the tree began to bend physics by literally bending. As he got to the top of the tree he put both of his hands together and suddenly the ground and even the air began to shift and close in on Estris. It looked as though Estris was sealed tight in Neil's contraption, but then Estris said, "Purple." A purple spiraling line shot out at Neil, nearly hitting him. "What was that?" said Neil. "It's pure power," said Estris. "But how can you use pure power? Who are you really?" said Neil. Estris removed his robe and what was under it were two pitch-black wings, indicating that he was the worst type of demon — a fallen angel. "A fallen angel?! There's only one reason I could think of for one of you being here," said Neil. "And you're right about that girl, but you're also wrong — the boy has to die as well," said Estris. "The boy! But why?!" shouted Neil. "Well, a girl offered to become a demon as long as I killed this boy while I was disguised as a pope. I wasn't gonna bother at first, but then she said, 'He's with some girl on a waterfall that magically comes out of the ground. She has white hair and looks around fourteen to fifteen years old.' So I couldn't pass up the opportunity and came here as soon as possible," said Estris. "And what did you do to the girl?" said Neil. "She's half demon now," said Estris. "You're a monster!" said Neil. "No way — he's talking about Emily," said Aton. "Get back! This is the highest-level threat you can possibly face in this day and age!" Neil shouted.
"Citas mir catastrophe," said Estris, as a blue replication of Neil's attack shot at him two times faster than his. Neil ended up controlling the pieces around him, avoiding the attack. Then suddenly everything started pulling towards him like a black hole until everything turned black. In a flash of light he was the size of a continent and said, "Your sins will be atoned," in an exaggerated voice. Estris then began flying towards him, but not as confidently as before; everything around him was changing colors, including Neil. Colored lightning was shooting in different patterns and looked deadly. "Purple," said Estris, and a beam shot out of his finger, but vanished into thin air before reaching anything. "Hm," said Estris, before he said, "Have you ever seen what happens when you use magic along with your pure power? del es purple ve vortex es reality." Neil thought, His incantation was so complex, but what is that gonna do? A giant dark beam shot out of his palm; everything went in slow motion and Neil shrank. I can't make it vanish — it's over, Neil thought. The blast hit Neil directly and everything went back to normal.
Estris then flew down and walked over to Aton and Alicia; Alicia was still crying on the ground. "It's time to go, Alicia," said Estris. "Wait — not unless you get through me," said Aton. Instantly Estris teleported in a flash without saying anything. He said it in his head, Aton thought. "I'm not scared of you," said Aton, but Estris didn't move nor say anything. "Citas ve strength," Aton said while punching Estris in the chest. Estris fell to his knees and slowly to the ground, but suddenly he disappeared and was behind Aton. "It's gee," said Estris. "What?" said Aton as he turned around to see Estris with his hand on Alicia's head. "Gee is the spell you were trying to cast — citas gee strength. ve would've given me strength. I've decided not to kill you. I guess you can call me a liar. Learn magic, get strong — I'm sure we will meet again," said Estris as he vanished along with Alicia.
