Ruby's POV
My entire world tilted on its axis.
Everything I thought I knew about him crumbled in an instant. The man I had seen as untouchable, sophisticated, even in his cruelest moments - that image shattered completely.
This wasn't the Elias I knew.
This was something else entirely. Something raw and animalistic, tangled up with multiple women in ways that made my stomach lurch violently.
I doubled over, bile rising in my throat.
"Watch where you're gonna puke, sweetheart!" The man gripping my arm yanked me forward, dragging me across the room before shoving me down right in front of the massive sectional.
"What do you think, Alpha? Should we toss her out or let her play along?" His voice dripped with malicious entertainment.
Terror shot through me as I tried to scramble away, but he stepped into my path, blocking any escape.
Elias finally pulled himself away from the woman beneath him, his predatory gaze locking onto mine. What I saw there made my blood run cold.
